  • Don't get me wrong, I love meat (now I can't say that without sounding gay), but your videos make being vegan look appetizing :-) Haha. Much respect. Anywho, are you gonna post anymore videos of your actual band? You guys are Fucking AWESOME!

  • @LZKAntiMainstream Many thanks, the "actual band" stuff will be posted later on this year when everything is ready to launch.

  • I just might go vegetarian because of your videos.

  • Brain Masala!!

  • +1 for Labyrinth

  • Holy fuck! Best episode yet!... and yes.. I loved and still love labyrinth.

  • I watched labyrinth the other day

    bwhahahahaahhahahaha

  • Where did your bowl and platter come from?

  • hahaha, why do you always have to ruin that beautiful food by getting hair on it?

  • Hey,VBMC,adding some turmeric to the spinach towards the end makes it look brighter and a little less bog-o-stench-like.Hail Kali-ma! (and you of course!!!) \m/ \m/

  • How is your voice after you do these videos :3

  • Do you plan on releasing an LP of all the VBMC music?

  • @MrCerebellum2 I will release all of the music without the vocals in march

  • I have made the Dal, I got it a bit wrong the first time as I forgot to soak the lentils and THEN do all of what you told me, the second time I didn't forget, I prefer it to be spicy enough to get me high (without adding any form on illegal substance to it), that's at least at "Sahara Desert" spiciness, at most "I must BURN all that stand in my way with my flame breath!!!" spiciness.

May you send your enemies into the eternal fires!

  • @NetMoverSitan You should not have to soak the lentils beforehand. They do take between 30-40 min to cook though, especially if you use normal lentils. Sometimes you have to taste one to see if they are soft and if so add more water.

  • I wish I was this guy.

  • My family loves vegan food and vegan cooking, and we adore you! My four year old son LOVES your videos and wants to be the Vegan Black Metal Chef for Halloween (we are also obsessed with Halloween). If he does, I'll post some pictures or a video for you. His impression of you is pretty good :-)))) P.S. I love how you often use pots that are not quite big enough for the task, it really adds to the humor--not sure if it is intentional, I'm guessing not, but I love it anyway! XOXOXO

  • @emorysmom Hahahah yes pics please. My pots are great.

  • this is the only way i get to eat vegetables

  • In non indian recipes you may want to try mixing tapioca and rice flour in order to off set that odd taste it has.

  • I have found a new love.

  • This is the best... since episode one. Thx.

  • Great!!!

  • More more more. Hypnotically good! Arrhhhhhh

  • I CAN'T STOP WATCHING THIS...IT'S FANTASTIC! LOVE YOU! HAIL SEITAN! HAHAHA;

    \,,/

  • more intense!

  • lol just gets better and better

  • Your videos make me really hungry. And that kitchen is serious business. Teach me.

  • Meat is more true then veggies though. :p

  • fuck you steak eater.

  • I'd rather eat a steak ;)

  • I adore you, you give Vegans a lovely name :)

    Vegan hugs xox

  • Just EPIC

  • A wicked video once again! I cook vegan Indian food at least 5 times a week. I've been taught not to add salt to lentils until the end, though, as they don't cook as well and they will be tougher.

  • awesome recipes and yeah I did love love Labrynth when I was a kid .

  • Love your videos and the food always looks really good too!

  • Not only do the recepies look so tasty that I´m really getting hungry, the music you make is awesome as well. You are a genius.

  • this guy is a genius!!!!

  • hail from Mexico

  • Comment removed

  • Please, please, please do more Indian dishes! Might I suggest a nice tikka masala or korma dish? And, as a "vegan" black metal chef, I'm guessing homemade paneer is out...?

    \m/ \m/

  • Is that a joke

  • I still find this the best cooking show on Yooutube, also what i find is awsome, the fact you write your own music.

    Keep doing this dude

    Cheers from the Netherlands!

  • At last a really funny and creative chef. U rock! greetings from Spain

  • WHERE DO YOU GET THE SKULL'S BLENDER MIXER??

  • It DOES look just like the Bog of Eternal Stench...

  • In the long run, if you have an Indian market near you, it's probably cheaper to buy the individual spice components rather than the premades. Plus you can adjust to experiment.

The must-haves: garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, fenugreek powder, hing powder, amchur powder, dry mustard powder, black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, powdered cumin, and curry powder. It should be ridiculously cheap at the Indian market.

  • Damn too bad you're a vegan. Everything else is pretty awesome.

  • Well done, these videos just keep getting better. Keep up the great work.

  • I LOVE YOU. I always share your videos to everyone :D And damn, I wanna make that now!... how long does it take?

  • @marsuylama Many thanks... it takes about 45 min from start to finish in the beginning, once you are comfortable with everything more like 30 min

  • DELICIOUS!!

  • Good for you sir!

F.Y.I., your ads weren't displaying until I signed in. The Obama/Solyndra video was very informative!

  • do you have whole house decorated like your kitchen? so awesome :D

  • Brilliant video again

  • Wow the music was really good this time around. Especially for "Make The Dal". Definitely sharing!

  • I made the smoothies and wow! The frozen concentrate makes the difference. There are so many dislikes because gay Christians will look up videos simply to dislike. I've heard a herd ov faggots at my school. The lords work is all about stats now ;)

  • @AntiChristianPhenom

    leave gay people alone, moron.

  • Lets Kill All Those Stupid RnB, Rap, etc. FAGS With The Satan's Black Metal Cooking Force!!! \m/ Whose With Me And With The Power Of METAL? \m/

  • Honestly, I don't even cook and I enjoy watching these just for the general entertainment value.

  • i do eat this shit all day =D

  • Add some Naan bread and you really have a feast!

  • youra fucking beast but i cant tell if your trolling black metal or not >.< \m/

  • the music was a little too loud and it over powered the commentary. I actually had to read :(

  • All hail Ron Paul as the saviour for 2012!

  • lool.. I'm Indian.. and it was really funny how you said those vedic sanskrit scripts

  • i bet you have extremely high estrogen and extremely low testosterone

  • DUDE, YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE

I decided to restock on curry and some other spices because of this vid. I placed order. When going to the bank site i saw the balance stating 66,6 :D

  • Your channel is so awesome! Do you have a website with these recipies?

  • @LiberAnarchy I do not "do" strict recipes... everything you need to know is contained in the videos. Give one a watch, jot down a note or two if you need to and see if you do not feel empowered to make it.

  • This channel is splendid

  • I love indian food, but the only indian restaurant here (and it's vegan, thank good), dont uses any tamasic food (onions, garlic, and stuff like that). So i cried.

  • <3 I shared this with all my friends. And fuck you, I still love the Labyrinth ;)

mmm. I wanna make this now. Thanks!

  • @CzarriaAfdemaur thanks for sharing

  • not only are the recipes more amazing every single time (to me) but your video quality & the music are even getting better. amazing job! i always look forward to seeing a new video in my sub box. =]

  • @bethbr00tality awesome, thanks, I try to improve at least a bit all the time.

  • MY HISTORY!! GREETINGS FROM ECUADOR!!

  • @BYRONHELL Greetings

  • the balance between being tongue-in-cheek and deadly seriousness in these videos perfectly reflects the attitude of black metal as a whole.

also, you should do come dine with me!

  • 300 views and 600 likes? That's some black magic there...

  • Are you going to come out with a VBMC brand of cooking implements?

  • Where do you get all your cooking supplies? Like, the goblets and spiked bowls and pots and everything. I need those in my dorm. Badly.

  • Another (particularly) excellent episode of black metal amazingness.

  • As a lover of Indian cuisine, I look forward to preparing these. Keep up the good work! :)

  • Fucking amazing!

  • Labyrinth FTW

  • new episode yay!

I normally doesn't like lentils but I want to try this.

  • That was.. really fucking epic

  • I was hoping you'd show me how to make vegetable samosas :( Samosas are so freaking good!

  • Is that sweet potatoes? Interesting choice.

  • Awesome!! Love your videos !

  • I'm an adult and I still love Labyrinth!!

  • I LOVE the cool utensils you use!

  • ~0:45 made me think of indian black/death metal (sung in one of the native languages). Are there any such bands?

  • @Taernsietr I like the band Rudra, mostly death metal, but have some black metal elements, they mix english into their songs though..I think their latest single is "Now Therefore"

  • That...looked so good. :D

  • At 0:36 is that.. a dual-blade for the dark elf from Sacred? o_O

  • Your music is only exceeded by the legends that are Emperor and Mayhem....

  • @csowned2 Damn thanks

  • This is easliy my favorite YouTube channel!

  • I wish I could find these ingredients for cheap in Japan. They come in the tiniest packages for triple the price of what I used to pay in Finland.

  • @Finntroll17 only pickled plum rice ball for you

  • Fuck this looks good.

  • SHIVA CHEF!!! I loved that!!! Another cool vid with great recipes! Now I am hungry dammit!!! (>o<) Love your vids!!!

  • I cook Indian all the time and using Earth Balance is a good idea. Better than Ghee. Thanks. The pakoras look great.

  • I'm far from being a vegan - I do eat veggies but they are on the side to something that either walked, ran, flew, crawled or swam for it. I'll say this: VeganBlackMetalChef does have the right attitude. Keep the videos coming!

  • @cc6809 me too, I think it's people like him that will get omnivores like us to actually consider eating vegan food...

  • black metal with vegan no fucking way..

  • Marry me.

  • @Brimmely Yes! Yes! lets run away on the internet together!

  • I love ur vida vids it just takes u too long to put some on

  • It just makes you want to bow down and worship Krishna XD lmao

  • I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!!!!!

  • Fuck yess!

  • VBMC should team up with "epic meal time"

  • @forkyoudorkhead try regular ordinary swedish meal time! way more fun than epic meal time! cheers! \m/

  • I don't mean any offense but you don't quite get Indian food and/or cooking methods. I know because i am an Indian and (i believe) a pretty good cook myself.

  • @dishayu

my impression is that his goal is to create simplified, tasty vegan dishes that many people can easily cook & enjoy, and overall his recipes derive from many parts of the world. for precise, ethnic gourmet cuisine i think you'd need to go to a different channel. i don't think that is his goal.

  • I always thumb up and/or add this to favorites and share it to everyone before I even watch it... after all that I just have to enjoy the video :D

  • Fuck yeah! <3 Love it!

  • he needs to open his own vegan black metal restaurant...nom nom nom

  • I am a indian vegan metalhead from Singapore and I worship you more then yancancook and jamie oiliver combined.

  • You are f-ing AWESOME.

  • It really does not get old!

  • @1:00, this made me want to look up a brain substitute. I can't find one, you should have a company make that and market it w/ your likeness all rockstar-like... Also, you need someone to make you some badass metal tongs. I need more tong action.

  • @ThatBrittany Boiled Seitan looks a lot like brains

  • the music is really catchy

  • So much better than watching Food Network.

  • My nine year old says, "Vegan Black Metal Chef is the God of Hell Cooking!"

  • LOL, my birthday is this Thursday and no joke, we are going to a place with hedge-mazes and I am dressing up as Jareth the Goblin King. I laughed so hard when the bog of eternal stench reference was made. I may just have to make this for my birthday, thank you VBMC

  • you have made Vegans awesome to me. as long as they are all as kvlt as you :D

  • Dude, I will send you my recipe for curry spice mix. WAY better than the boxed stuff! I cook in the kitchen for Kali Pujari. So its good shit! Thank you for the awesome vegan videos! You rock!

  • I noticed the music received an aesthetic upgrade and sounds extra intense now. Keep up the good work!

  • Looks awesome! But seeing as I keep around 4 dozen different spices & herbs in my cupboard (at least 6-7 of which are Indian, plus 8-20 different types of chili powder & paprikas) I like making my own spice blends. Thanks for the cool cooking vids!!!

  • Man! Talk about inspiration! I hope it doesn't goes out so easily because this is awesome!

  • I like to dip my pakoras in tamarind and onion chutney. Do you use them and if so, do you make your own or buy?

  • @eustacia03 I buy them

  • I've tried making Indian food several times, with variable results. When I saw the title, I knew this would become my next experiment. But as I started watching, I realized that the music had taken a new level of intensity. Great job!

  • @GuerillaBunny Thanks...you can do it

  • I love you.

  • man, immensity of darkness sounds so good, you should make more of those.

  • @cuddlehead1 More is on the way... all of the Forever Dawn stuff will be done later on this year/a tour will follow

  • holly fuck this song rules~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!

  • do you take suplements, like vitamin b12 and such?

  • @RockalilyDunne Nope, it is my opinion that they are not needed.

  • @VeganBlackMetalChef oh yeah thats cool. I had my blood tested (I've been a vegetarian for 6 years) and I was expecting to be missing on protein, but actually, my protein levels were healthy, I was only missing out on B12. So now I'm taking b12 vitamins. Thanks for replying!

  • @VeganBlackMetalChef I don't take them either and all is well (I made a checkup recently). I think people should be more worried about processed foods, gmo and pesticides. Eat as much raw and organic as you can!

  • I've never seen Labyrinth :-P

  • Damn this looks really damned tasty! ! !

  • Must, eat, THIS! :p

  • 8:04 made me realize just how absurd this show is. Vegan Black Metal Chef, I love you.

  • I still love that movie...Thanks for the reference to it my good man. That really took me by surprise though, I didn't expect anyone to still care about that film.

  • the problem with vegan cooking is that you absolutely need very well equipped stores and supermarkets close to you, which is something that's available to like only 15% of the planet's population.

  • @guguigugu and special vegan stuff like cream cheese, soy milk etc is way too expensive at least where I live : ( Makes your diet a little boring sometimes

  • @guguigugu Watch your statistics on that... don't forget everything I made in this video is available and eaten all the time by more than a fifth of the worlds population on just one sub continent. I understand I have it "easier" living in Orlando, Fl in the US. However many cultures from many places around the world have tons of vegan meals. Look how many "wal mart" products are used i these as well. These are even in smaller US towns.

  • @VeganBlackMetalChef Yer right there, dark one's child, it's cheap n' available the bounty of vegan grub for way less coin than Kobe from the dark lord's own stores or some aged darkness from the heart of cattle county....HAIL SATAN!! Bloody, red, juicy, tender and tasty meat rules only one of the many dark corridors of the fallen one's cavern of lightlessness!! Pork rules another, the flesh of children, yet another..In nomine Dei nostri Satanas Luciferi Excelsi!

  • @VeganBlackMetalChef Yer right there, dark one's child, it's cheap n' available the bounty of vegan grub for way less coin than Kobe from the dark lord's own stores or some aged darkness from the heart of cattle county....HAIL SATAN!! Pork rules another, the flesh of children yet another..In nomine Dei nostri Satanas Luciferi Excelsi!

  • @guguigugu Its only really a problem if you want to make a lot of meat and dairy analogue meals.

  • @VeganBlackMetalChef yes, if you keep it simple and if you make everything by yourself, you can get by, but if you want to treat yourself with some chocolate or even wine, then you will have a hard time finding vegan versions.

also all these spices are quite expensive here, and i've never seen earthbalance or something similar :)

  • @guguigugu I currently live in Thailand and have lived in Morocco and have had no problems eating a healthy vegan diet with fresh produce, beans, nuts, grains, tofu, etc. Actually I found that a lot of the spices and "exotic" ingredients in many vegan dishes are much cheaper here since they come from Asia. They even sell Amy's products here in Bangkok, it's super expensive though and I'd rather stay away from processed soy products and keep it as local as possible.

  • I sure hope OZZY is watching this and buys you a good sized sauce pan and a lid that fits lol, but seriously really love your vids!

  • The lack of bendy staws makes me sad :(

  • After mutilating the broccoli brutally saw the body in pieces.

I think nothing shoulf be wasted of the broccoli.

    Apart the skin.

Another thing: lots of people pokes the eye off from the potato.

    Should I do it too?

  • Brilliant! Thanks!
