Don't get me wrong, I love meat (now I can't say that without sounding gay), but your videos make being vegan look appetizing :-) Haha. Much respect. Anywho, are you gonna post anymore videos of your actual band? You guys are Fucking AWESOME!
Hey,VBMC,adding some turmeric to the spinach towards the end makes it look brighter and a little less bog-o-stench-like.Hail Kali-ma! (and you of course!!!) \m/ \m/
I have made the Dal, I got it a bit wrong the first time as I forgot to soak the lentils and THEN do all of what you told me, the second time I didn't forget, I prefer it to be spicy enough to get me high (without adding any form on illegal substance to it), that's at least at "Sahara Desert" spiciness, at most "I must BURN all that stand in my way with my flame breath!!!" spiciness.
@NetMoverSitan You should not have to soak the lentils beforehand. They do take between 30-40 min to cook though, especially if you use normal lentils. Sometimes you have to taste one to see if they are soft and if so add more water.
My family loves vegan food and vegan cooking, and we adore you! My four year old son LOVES your videos and wants to be the Vegan Black Metal Chef for Halloween (we are also obsessed with Halloween). If he does, I'll post some pictures or a video for you. His impression of you is pretty good :-)))) P.S. I love how you often use pots that are not quite big enough for the task, it really adds to the humor--not sure if it is intentional, I'm guessing not, but I love it anyway! XOXOXO
A wicked video once again! I cook vegan Indian food at least 5 times a week. I've been taught not to add salt to lentils until the end, though, as they don't cook as well and they will be tougher.
Please, please, please do more Indian dishes! Might I suggest a nice tikka masala or korma dish? And, as a "vegan" black metal chef, I'm guessing homemade paneer is out...?
In the long run, if you have an Indian market near you, it's probably cheaper to buy the individual spice components rather than the premades. Plus you can adjust to experiment.
The must-haves: garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, fenugreek powder, hing powder, amchur powder, dry mustard powder, black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, powdered cumin, and curry powder. It should be ridiculously cheap at the Indian market.
I made the smoothies and wow! The frozen concentrate makes the difference. There are so many dislikes because gay Christians will look up videos simply to dislike. I've heard a herd ov faggots at my school. The lords work is all about stats now ;)
I decided to restock on curry and some other spices because of this vid. I placed order. When going to the bank site i saw the balance stating 66,6 :D
@LiberAnarchy I do not "do" strict recipes... everything you need to know is contained in the videos. Give one a watch, jot down a note or two if you need to and see if you do not feel empowered to make it.
I love indian food, but the only indian restaurant here (and it's vegan, thank good), dont uses any tamasic food (onions, garlic, and stuff like that). So i cried.
not only are the recipes more amazing every single time (to me) but your video quality & the music are even getting better. amazing job! i always look forward to seeing a new video in my sub box. =]
@Taernsietr I like the band Rudra, mostly death metal, but have some black metal elements, they mix english into their songs though..I think their latest single is "Now Therefore"
I'm far from being a vegan - I do eat veggies but they are on the side to something that either walked, ran, flew, crawled or swam for it. I'll say this: VeganBlackMetalChef does have the right attitude. Keep the videos coming!
I don't mean any offense but you don't quite get Indian food and/or cooking methods. I know because i am an Indian and (i believe) a pretty good cook myself.
my impression is that his goal is to create simplified, tasty vegan dishes that many people can easily cook & enjoy, and overall his recipes derive from many parts of the world. for precise, ethnic gourmet cuisine i think you'd need to go to a different channel. i don't think that is his goal.
@1:00, this made me want to look up a brain substitute. I can't find one, you should have a company make that and market it w/ your likeness all rockstar-like... Also, you need someone to make you some badass metal tongs. I need more tong action.
LOL, my birthday is this Thursday and no joke, we are going to a place with hedge-mazes and I am dressing up as Jareth the Goblin King. I laughed so hard when the bog of eternal stench reference was made. I may just have to make this for my birthday, thank you VBMC
Dude, I will send you my recipe for curry spice mix. WAY better than the boxed stuff! I cook in the kitchen for Kali Pujari. So its good shit! Thank you for the awesome vegan videos! You rock!
Looks awesome! But seeing as I keep around 4 dozen different spices & herbs in my cupboard (at least 6-7 of which are Indian, plus 8-20 different types of chili powder & paprikas) I like making my own spice blends. Thanks for the cool cooking vids!!!
I've tried making Indian food several times, with variable results. When I saw the title, I knew this would become my next experiment. But as I started watching, I realized that the music had taken a new level of intensity. Great job!
@VeganBlackMetalChef oh yeah thats cool. I had my blood tested (I've been a vegetarian for 6 years) and I was expecting to be missing on protein, but actually, my protein levels were healthy, I was only missing out on B12. So now I'm taking b12 vitamins. Thanks for replying!
@VeganBlackMetalChef I don't take them either and all is well (I made a checkup recently). I think people should be more worried about processed foods, gmo and pesticides. Eat as much raw and organic as you can!
I still love that movie...Thanks for the reference to it my good man. That really took me by surprise though, I didn't expect anyone to still care about that film.
the problem with vegan cooking is that you absolutely need very well equipped stores and supermarkets close to you, which is something that's available to like only 15% of the planet's population.
@guguigugu and special vegan stuff like cream cheese, soy milk etc is way too expensive at least where I live : ( Makes your diet a little boring sometimes
@guguigugu Watch your statistics on that... don't forget everything I made in this video is available and eaten all the time by more than a fifth of the worlds population on just one sub continent. I understand I have it "easier" living in Orlando, Fl in the US. However many cultures from many places around the world have tons of vegan meals. Look how many "wal mart" products are used i these as well. These are even in smaller US towns.
@VeganBlackMetalChef Yer right there, dark one's child, it's cheap n' available the bounty of vegan grub for way less coin than Kobe from the dark lord's own stores or some aged darkness from the heart of cattle county....HAIL SATAN!! @VeganBlackMetalChef yes, if you keep it simple and if you make everything by yourself, you can get by, but if you want to treat yourself with some chocolate or even wine, then you will have a hard time finding vegan versions.
also all these spices are quite expensive here, and i've never seen earthbalance or something similar :)
@guguigugu I currently live in Thailand and have lived in Morocco and have had no problems eating a healthy vegan diet with fresh produce, beans, nuts, grains, tofu, etc. Actually I found that a lot of the spices and "exotic" ingredients in many vegan dishes are much cheaper here since they come from Asia. They even sell Amy's products here in Bangkok, it's super expensive though and I'd rather stay away from processed soy products and keep it as local as possible.

After mutilating the broccoli brutally saw the body in pieces.
I think nothing shoulf be wasted of the broccoli.
Apart the skin.
Another thing: lots of people pokes the eye off from the potato.
Should I do it too?
