  • But after years of researching and observing this field,i have to conclude that anyone that has his/her own educated opinion after being presented with all facts and data concerning any particular subject,and is immediately met with hostility and outright anger from the consensus of the people just for expressing his/her opinions and thoughts concerning those matters is usually the person who is closest to the WHOLE truth.and that is also the person i would like to believe is the most informed.

  • Its easy to see truth and its even easier to see lies.truth doesnt need to be accompanied by hostility,anger,belligerence,c­urse words,hate or arrogance.truth stands firmly on its own two feet with little or no support.but on the other hand,lies totally depends on the support of the ones who is keeping them alive.and without that support,those lies will certainly fall.anger,hate,defamation,hos­tility,name-calling etc etc,are part of the support structure of a lie.and that structure is very fragile

  • I wonder how many people tested HIV+ and took meds (consistantly for over 10-20 years) aare doing well as opposed to those who took meds and discontinued (for 10-20 years) and have had their physicians monitor them? Also, if HIV IS what is being purpoted, then are we doing a diservice to those who are HIV poz? I am not saying that those who have another perspective about this topic are incorrect, just that if they ARE incorrect, isn't it dangerous? Ultimately, it is the responsibility of each

  • one of us to inform and make decisions about how we should best deal with health-topics, including chronic health conditions. There is a drug called KP-1461 which is supposedly very different than all current drugs for HIV. KP-1461 is in prelim stages at the moment. Please check it out, if u have not done so.

    i dont think so. you wont find THIS long term healthy survivor on any VIRAL REPLICATION medicine, no matter WHAT they claim.

    considering how NON SPECIFIC the whole hiv science itself has revealed itself to be, if you over-replicate viral hiv, and that too is non specific, what other viral material is also gonna be multi-replicated. if you die, they'll blame that stuff, and say, BUT HIS HIV WAS CURED!!

  • it's not dangerous. alot of people would have you think its dangerous. nice way to shut down opposing views, just cry DANGER DANGER DANGER.... accusing your opponents of being dangerous is the oldest trick in the book. just look at the fight over wether to go into iraq, both sides accused their opponents of 'danger!

    ive had aids for decades, nothing endangered me more than the meds they gave me for it. only time i was ever sick was directly due to meds. who is endangering ME? not gary null!

  • i just re-read this last comment of yours about danger and got a new take on it. id love to tell you about the 'danger' i let myself into when i refused azt, and everybody else took it. WITHIN WEEKS EVERY SOUL I KNEW WAS DEATHLY ILL,.... i didnt endanger myself at all, THEY DID. and out of fear they kept takign it. guys were healthy, took azt, and within weeks were deathly ill, WHO IS ENDANGERING THEMSELVES HERE? THEM? ME?

  • Hi PhillyReikiMaster. AZT was you first (only?) medication? I agree that AZT is a "dangerous" drug (alone at high doses) but as you know there are different classes of drugs which purports to be less lethal than AZT alone....of course, some people no matter what drug they decide to take may experience some type of side effect. As for me, I am definitely contemplating on switching from Trizivir, which I had been on for over 8 years.

  • also, PhillyReikiMaster, I respect those who chose a different path than pharmaceuticals. My question about the "danger" element was hypothetical. What is interesting (to me) is that I have not heard anyone giving any statistical data on those who take meds (long-term) and those who do not. I HAVE heard of anecdotal evidence, such as yours and a few others, but nothing of substantial numbers....anyway, my purpose is not to offend, but to discover/learn.

  • My creds are irrelevant. My point is: If you want medically accurate answers to those questions talk to doctors and researchers. Read medical literature. You won't get sound medical advice from this guy. AIDS is serious and your flippant straw-man arguments about "symptoms" has nothing to do with the cause-and-effect issue here.

  • If you think Null is offering sound medical alternatives to current treatments I suggest reading valid medical works by people *with valid medical credentials*. If you think because a current treatment isn't a "cure" or has "bad side effects" then any other option is a good idea... learn critical thinking.

    Or, if you get AIDS do what you want. Your body your choice.

  • I pray to god I never test positive for HIV. But if I ever did, I would NEVER take those drugs. The side effects from them lead to certain morbidity which is worse than death.

  • Tutt: It CERTAINLY WOULDN'T disturb nor deter me if I ever tested POSITIVE - something HIGHLY UNLIKELY in S.Africa where I'm based - purely given my so-called 'white' racial status! I'm guessing - I have NO PROOF whatsoever - that so-called WHITE folk most often test NEGATIVE - there's simply NO TIME to go thru' the MILLIONS of tests, & WHITES could very easily create a HUGE HORNETS NEST if the test was proven INACCURATE! SKIP the whites & hone in on the most naive & least informed!

  • my experience is that the least informed group are those who dont understand that pregnancy itself can make you test false poz, and once that happens, you either give your baby poison, or the state takes it away.

  • I dare any of these pseudo-scientific 'experts' to go to Khayelitsha in Cape Town and treat those dying XDR-TB+Aids patients there and practice what they preach. They won't survive a week. Breathing in that new airborne SA mutated strain of XDR-TB+Aids kills within 20 days. Good luck!

Cough, diarrhea, difficult or labored breathing, ear pain, discharge or swelling, enlarged liver, enlarged spleen, fever, general feeling of illness, headache, loss of appetite, mouth sores, nausea, nasal discharge or congestion, rash, swollen lymph nodes, vomiting.

  • What does "daring me to take Retrovir" have to do with anything? Just that because side-effects of a drug are bad ANY alternative is acceptable? Get real. There many illnesses that the disease course isn't fully understood. So, I guess we just stop going to doctors then. Oddly enough I'm betting on science and doctors to refine their treatments.

  • The point (do I have to spell it out?!) is that, if the treatment has side-effects that mirror the purported symptoms of a disease, you cannot tell whether the disease is really causing those symptoms. Imagine that your doctor told you were in imminent danger of some imaginary disease called SMAIDS which "causes" nausea and wasting. He prescribes rat poison and (how strange!) you're nauseated and losing weight. Well, that would've happened earlier if you hadn't taken your meds...
