The Zombies are well made. The makeup. However, I have always felt that the zombies that run at you are a little more terrifying that the ones that walk. The beginning is very good. However the actors and actresses =/ Eh, ruined it for me. I like the vlogs and then...the acting is just nto good. =/'

All this basic stuff.

Now, you do realize that almost every zombie movie ever created has a hero who is often not seen as one by most if not all other characters at the start of the movie, that does some things that 'smarter' people think are stupid.

Its not just zombie movies either, same goes for horror movies and a lot of action movies. Almost anything being made these days will be similar in some way to something else. Doesnt mean it was an actual copy.

The vlogs at the beginning were amazing - that's what World Wide Dead is all about!

For the criticism (sorry!) the acting skills of the main character guy were a bit suss, plus he's waaay too calm for a zombie crises. The guy in the tie is so cool though, and I find him relatable :).

And did "Mr. Zombie Slayer" (Ben, right?) have the pipe in his hand when the lights went off? I didn't see it. And if this was a promo why was there a big credit sequence at the end?

It's great to see this project being realised, at least in part. The script and the acting are the only letdowns, which stem from disorganisation in the writing process and an impossible deadline. But to persevere in spite of that and finish this promo took real determination, so well done, and congratulations to all involved.

I feel the need to point out that the script was changed several times after it left our (the writers) hands. First by one writer without conferring with others, then by various crew and the directors.

That doesn't surprise me. I was involved with the project early on, and spoke about how the writing process needed tighter organisation. I gave plenty of constructive criticism, but the admin team just took it personally. When they started ignoring my advice altogether, I wished them good luck and left. I don't blame you or any one writer for the script - there were just too many writers, without the right guidelines to pool their talent efficiently. Still, it's nice to see this promo got made.

Well, the team got very organised by the end, and it finished a script that was then changed by the "lead writer" (we thought he was just organising the process) before it was sent off to Bryony. It's a shame, really. It was working very well for a while.
