貓咪身上的平衡控制是在它的脊椎及脊椎兩側,如果穿上衣服將使它有壓迫感，同時身體會失去平衡，貓咪會完全無法動彈，這樣做是虐待。狗狗與貓咪不同，所以狗狗穿衣戴帽都沒問題。
