  • wow ..former NBA player..

  • If you have a problem shooting the ball the same way when you are futher out say the three point line shoot the same way. Your body will eventually will build enough muscle to shoot the same way. Try this in like some pick up games or during practice.

  • The only thing bout this videos it shows how to be a practice shooter not a game shooter I have a video that shows u how to have good form as well

  • Im 25 for 30 from 3 point rangee:D

  • When I shoot after warming up and such I'm quite consistent but I'm not getting much backspin. I try to flick with wrist but no improvement?

  • @NarcosisTutorialS your middle finger should be the last finger to leave the ball. if your thumb is last your shot is technically incorrect

  • This dude don't know what he's talking about...

  • Great video, more tips and tricks at basketballbst. blogspot. com <=== connect the link and enjoy

  • bend bend....straight straight.....CLANK! nothing but iron haha, fucking dee, i dont think he was much of a shooter

  • @boshfan25 Hahahaa,a bit harsh there. One thing I see in ball camps is how much respect those kids have for their tutor. Even if he missed all his shots there, I can bet you that guy with the blue jersey would still try to follow his techniques by heart.

  • m really trying to upgrade my shooting form to make my shot quicker and more efficient. please watch my video and tell me how i can fix my shot form: Stephen senderoff basketball highlights

  • how da fuk u miss twice

  • i have a lot of shooting forms but i can't find the comfortable shooting form for me..can you tell me what should i do?

  • @skycountry07 As long as that shooting form has the ability to make your shots go STRAIGHT consistently, then that should be comfortable for you. Making sure your shots go STRAIGHT is the most important part of shooting. If you find your shots bending right or left, not very stable then switch it till you find that one style which makes your ball go straight CONSISTENTLY. The key to a good jumpshot starts with making the ball straight, then only focus on the power and strength.

  • I think you should change your best shooting form and just keep trying to find your best shooting form. for it always happens to many basketball players who want to change shooting form because they want to follow their favorite player's shooting form.

  • everytime i shoot a free throw the last thing that i think about before shooting it is shoot it straight to the basket and it will go in. just focus on not releasing the ball off balance and with the wrong fingers.

  • dae brown used to go 2 my skol proviso nd shannon brown did 2 he went 2 lexington nd proviso and his brutha graduated wit me sterling brown

  • @wayroni43 firstly, its dee brown. Secondly, wrong dee brown - this dee brown won the dunk contest many years ago

  • i have nice form in my basketball shot but it changes as i go out farther, how do i build muscle so i can shoot oustide without airballing them?

  • @Gibsonlp3 do wrist curls and forearm curls

  • @Gibsonlp3 Make some pushups. =)

  • @Gibsonlp3 i have the same problem and i just keep shooting at my max consistent range. It has gotten further out, also i put a 5 pound weight in my shooting arm and just go thru the same motion that i shoot at. I have gained about 6 feet for my range and am getting furt her everyday.

  • @Gibsonlp3 but more arc or watch shot scirnce channel i had the same problem now im automatic

  • @Gibsonlp3 Real talk, tricep and shoulder workouts. Those two muscle groups give you range while not jeopardizing your form.

  • @Gibsonlp3 try pushups...works on a bunch of muscles--back, chest, biceps, triceps, abs. Try doin them really slow as well. I find it get much better workouts on my muscles that way.

  • @Gibsonlp3 yeah same problem can u telll mee der solution

  • @Gibsonlp3 use leg power.

  • @Gibsonlp3 try using your leg muscle to get more lift, and it will help your shot behind the 3 point. basically use your legs.

  • @Gibsonlp3 you got to get more muscle in your upper body because using to much leg will influence your shot to, if you got more power in your arms and upper body you can shoot more comfortable

  • @Gibsonlp3

there's not even a bit of need of upper body muscles, it's all form the legs, around 80% power comes from the legs, just bend lower and jump higher but yet keep the same form.

  • @Gibsonlp3 Honestly, I had that problem till I begin to study Kobe's jumpshots. When Kobe does a jumpshot, he bends his back forward thus giving him a forward momentum (like a slingshot). It takes a little getting use to, but it really gives that extra energy to push the ball further. I was also wondering how Kobe has enough strength to shoot the ball when he does fadeaways, and he does the same technique. It not only gives you more power in your shots, but it helps to stabilize you in mid air.

  • @Gibsonlp3 U could just Practice Doing that shot with a heavier Ball. it will help you get used to your Shot but also it will improve your Range. and untill then you Could Start your Shot a little Lower.

  • @Gibsonlp3 Triceps, simple as that

  • @Gibsonlp3 lift weights :D

  • @Gibsonlp3 Use more legs in your shot and maybe jump.

  • @Gibsonlp3 work on triceps, forearms and lowerbody (primarily calves)

  • @Gibsonlp3. do push ups and pop wrist harder and jump off harder

  • @Gibsonlp3 get a bball... lay down and shoot the ball in your form about 100 times and do it again til u wanna stiop

  • @Gibsonlp3 It's all in your legs. You should release at the highest point in your jump. Trust me, you'll feel it like it is perfect when it comes off your hand.

  • @Gibsonlp3 man do pushups but when you go down stay there for as long as you can it will build up the musscle's for shooting

  • @Gibsonlp3 use more legs

  • good tips, good teacher, you cant go rong with that!

  • bend bend ...straight straight
