The snaggings will be fixed by Monday 27th September.

We saw this being built a month ago, and returned today to try it out. A great structure, although a couple of "snaggings" need to be fixed.

1. The sliding windows need easing, they bind a lot.

2. The door only opens a small bit - the bottom of the door scrapes on the ground surface.

We'll be using this hide a lot - excellent facility.

Hi there -glad you like it! Not sure when you were there but the "snaggings" should have been sorted out about a week ago. Let us know if not, although as usual with wood there will be a settling in period.

We were there yesterday (21st September), and only the centre sliding window could be opened easily, and the door was definately scraping on the ground. Not a complaint, just thought someone needed to know about these little problems. To be honest, we weren't sure if the hide was officially open to the public yet, but used it anyway. We even saw our first whooper swan of the autumn in the bay. Thanks for an excellent hide and stunning piece of architecture.
