@19Kettle93 said "When did they start allowing porn on youtube?"
When you think about it, that attitude toward pornography is discriminatory against peoples that fetishize sexual activity. Discrimination against the majority is still discrimination.
i love how they're trying to show off how much engineering goes into their knives in the very beginning by looking over the 950 Rift's design on that computer. when i ordered my 950BK Rift, it came with a satin blade that was way off center. the sticker on the box even said 950BK. called in the warranty nbd. not hating on benchmade, but that kind of thing just makes me wonder how much care really comes out of this company
Benchmade makes hands down highest quality/sleekest knives, especially butterfly! 42 my most reliable and favorite knife of all time. Body made of freaking TITANIUM! Perfect balance, unbelievably light, on me 24-7 for utility/defense purposes, heavily used 4 years now!... Benchmade knives are built like a tank. What my 42 has endured is unbelievable for any knife, especially one accidentally thrown etc. Benchmade are top quality and amazing knives!
I collect many styled knives but none compare to the 42, also top notch sharpening! (LifeSharp service is amazing. I've been told full service included but never needed it!) All you pay is shipping/handling! Innovative designs, quality materials, highest quality standards! The renowned 42 is amazing! Best knife of all time!
the only good thing i can say about this video is that the guy has some skills with that butterfly, otherthan that FUCK BENCHMADE buncha conartists making shit copycat knives. im ESPECIALLY pissed about them stealing the spyderhole design recently.....
@silentknight2112 Relax dude! The round Spyderhole is patented by Spyderco and they made an arrangement with Benchmade, so they use it on some knives too. This is not a new for Benchmade, they used an ROUND openinghole back in 1996, after a few years they switched over to a oval hole. Now Spyderco and Benchmade worked something out (not recently, but in 2006). Do your homework before getting all pissed off...
hmm made in the USA? Roadsideimports, an online cutlery dealer had a friend go to their assembly facility and he said the workers barely spoke english, (illegal immigrants?) and on top of that unfortunately, BM's supplies as well as many other "USA" knife brands have materials imported from places like China or Taiwan
@JackTheCraftsman So does everybody man. In the finest restaurants in the country you will find only Mexicans and Ecuadorians cooking your food. I'm talking 5 star. And everyone imports materials, so why don't you get off your high horse buddy, and realize this is the global age we live in. I'm all for US made, prefer it, but in this economy if it was completely US made, they'd be three times as much.
I disagree. Bechmade don't make the best fixed blade knives. Randall knives are the best. They are perfect and there 5 year waiting list is a testiment to that fact, however with that said i agree that benchmade make the best folding knives. There axis lock is the tipping point that make me think they are the best. There are many other companies that are as good in all of the other features however when it comes to opening and closing a folding knife no one does it better than BM.
My experience with BM is good and bad. Their designs ARE great, and the AXIS lock is my favourite lock. However, I've never had a BM knife that's been sharp out of the box. Some of their knives lack effective jimping. And I've had the omega springs in an AXIS lock break. BM did send me replacement parts though so customer service is good. I prefer BM designs, but they could learn a lot from Spyderco re: sharpening and jimping.
weird, all my BMs come scary sharp out of the box...in fact thats the first thing people say about BM is that their blades are razor sharp,,sounds like you got a run of bad luck..
Spyderco knives come sharper out of the box. Spyderco gets their edge geometry straight. They even have mathematicians that work specifically to design the sharpest edge. I personally love Benchmade's knives and their designs. But just like that guy above says. Benchmade sometimes does need to correct their jimping.
Really? Because according to my 2009 catalog, of the 51 knives shown, not including varients, only 5 are made in China. Maybe you should get your facts straight before you start posting.
I sure love my Benchmade Mel Pardue auto (3550). 2.9" blade length.
Only out of my pocket when I'm using it. I've carried/used it for the past years. It's been opened thousands of times, and is still as reliable as the day I bought it.
I've been eyeing that mini skirmish. Looks great but for some reason when I look at Benchmade stuff I only want their axis lock knives. It's their signature lock.
cool vid...i wish my state didn't have the law that any knife like this can't be 3" or more...i mean what they don't know doesn't hurt, but if they ever would find out if i had one longer -_-
yeah i know that but i also don't know where to buy one anywhere near here so id be buying online and idk if they check that stuff out based on what state ur in...likely on amazon
My guess is not unless its an auto knife. Of course if its illegal do it at your own discretion of course. Glad there aren't any restrictions I know of in my state of GA. There are loads of good knives you can find that are under 3in blade length anyway. Most of the Benchmade "mini" knives are under 3in blades. So its kickass and legal. Peace.
Mass production $UCK$! Takes all the fun out of the art.
