Like it or not, he was Vancouver's best player down the stretch this year when they were losing games (and playing on the 4th line I might add). It's too bad he didn't get a chance later in his career to be a top 6 forward. Diminishing skills, yes. But heart more often than not trumps skill. Linden was underappreciated by myself during those peak years, but I now hope he gives us one more year to run at the cup with all this extra cap space. You don't win without guys like him in your line up.
