  • Some bits where it's not quite there but hey ! We've all done that. On the other hand there are some parts that really grab me by the balls. Practice those parts and chuck the flat bits out, you know which ones they are. Page is all about just letting go , warts n all without giving a shit, just pouring it all out straight from the heart. If you can do that, who gives a rat's arse about mistakes ?

  • My cover may be better?

  • @mikeb929man1 it's not bad, you just got to improve your speed but that's a pretty good cover man! nice tone too!

  • very good man!!!!!

  • not bad, kudos to having the balls to post it warts and all. Hey, how about posting a follow up? I'm interested to hear how you've grown in the past 2 years

  • @twst1 i posted a couple of new videos, under a glass moon solo and another solo

as soon as i get a new camera i might be posting some new stuff

  • dude This is very very good. This is coming from a guy who improvises all of his solos. I know I could not have done this that well.

  • i want to learn this do you have any tabs ?

  • @20seth09 it's improvised dude (; take a look at the description =D

  • sounds pretty good

  • i like it brother, u sound good

  • At times I'd forget and thought I was listening to Page.

  • that was fuckin sweet dude

  • Jimmy why did you had to cover pictures of yourself, instead of really showing yourself...

Jk, but you sound that good...

  • lol as if

  • to improvise is to "invent, compose, with little or no preparation". What you did here was..over time..you figured out, and learned much, but not all, of a particular portion of a Jimmy Page solo. This is your "rendition / interpretation"...and it is a VERY GOOD kick at the can, amigo! Some segments are stronger than others...but there aren't any 'weak" parts. I see you put it up over a year ago. I'll bet that you can play an even better interpretation now.

  • that was pretty damn sweet..im having a hard time learning Bouree..seems like you got it down

  • the fuckin Bouree in E minor gives me the chill every fuckin time i here in this solo!

  • it is not Jimmy Page! It is anyone other guitar player!! Very Sure!!

  • on 0:38 msn message!! lol

  • Haha. I thought that was just my computer at first until you said that. :p

  • @ledzeppelinfan252 what??

  • hahaha i dont think improvisated is a word but this is sick anyway

  • sorry, i corrected the mistake, thanks for the comment

  • i little too much gain

  • Not bad.

  • Nice playing, Jimmy! ;)

  • that was awesome, is there any way you could film yourself doing it so we can see ur fingers and learn unless u have tabs.

  • i had filmed it but it was a very bad recording

but it's all improvised, just improvise it or look at jun626's version

  • Its The Same Thing Page did at some Show you can find it on youtube

  • it's not the same, i just improvised it...it could sound similar but it's not the same at all

  • ya no prob, thanks for actually replying most people dont.

  • wow the tone you had sounded just like his. what you using?

  • i used a marshall guv'nor pedal. Very good overdrifve for rock n roll/hard rock

    Thanks for your comment

  • The tone does sound the same. Did you also pick the strings closer to the rhythm pick up like Jimmy does?

  • i don't remember... i don't think so, i didn't know this trick.

  • I meant, Treble pick up, not rhythm. But yeah. Observe Jimmy's playing. Especially from 1973-present. He picks very close or on top of the treble pick up which is an element to his sound. But anyway, you have his tone down anyway it sounds like to me.

  • @MrDrProfessorJrMD I would say Jimmy picks closer to his Bridge pickup. If you watch him play he has his hand resting on the back of the bridge, so it would be hard to pick near the neck pickup, don't you think?

  • i like how he added that little classical guitar song hes amazing

  • i want one of them but GC dude told me they were discontinued

  • haha you can hear someone sign in on msn. great job man.

  • yeah! ^^

i didn't want to record it again lol

    thanks

  • you killed it boss

  • Improvisated lmao. great word. you made this solo your bitch.

    Great job dude.

  • Nice man, it's got real soul. 5 stars. Rock on.

  • best comment ever read. thanks

  • its good, but u didnt improvise it. this is the version from the album "how the west was won". its live version of heartbreaker

  • i think this is a huge compliment, because, if you're right, i got this solo note for note and then i learned it the speed jimmy did...no, i just followed the A scale and shuffled up a bit

it's similar, i said it, to how the west was won, but non the same

    bye

  • great job

    Is tabbing that possible?

if not, what key for the solo around 2 minutes and on.

    great job anyway!

  • thank you!

it's key of A, just like the studio solo

  • in A the whole time? i've gotten pretty good at the real thing but i want to add improv and i cant get the key

  • i used just the A chord, but not only the A pentatonic scale...i'll wait to see your version

    bye!

  • not bad but it lacks a bi of note duration variation to be honest. 5 stars anyways for the effort.

  • Perfect live version! Applause and respect!

  • wow, that's really good!!

  • Wow...
