I've been playing this off of the virtual console from the wii for around a year now. (probably 20-50 hours total gameplay). I played the DS remake a lot before this so.....that got me started. BUT.... the original just made it seem a lot like as if I was playing this for the first time in years. I love this game.

Awwww, the nostalgia kicking in :') wish I could go back to those times and be on endless adventures with Mario again. the year is 1998 and I finally defeated the final bowser,got my cake from peach and was so happy to listen to this song along with seeing all the enemies in order in the credits, I remember seeing big bob-omb then the big whomp and I was so excited that I finally used 3 years of my life getting stars and then in the credits I saw that forsaken eel and crapped. the end
