This is Citizen Cope (Clarence Greenwood) I just saw him in Seattle a couple days ago. Awesome show and I'm not to big on the overlaid guitar either. I think it's a nice attempt at Santana style but Santana wouldn't fill every second with a solo, he knows there's key to balance and giving vocals their place and even rhythm guitar. Clarence Greenwood is Citizen Cope like Trent Reznor is Nine Inch Nails if that make any sense.
