I had never heard ot 'Stagg' before and I must say it does seem to have a very nice tone to it indeed. Apparently its made from 'nato mahogany' whatever that is and they sell for between £80 to £130 so its not expensive. But getting it as a gift was a lovely surprise - unless its someone that doesnt like my wife cos I cant put it down and its driving her nuts! LOL Thank you for your comments.
They are great for the money,even better free. I have a Stagg acoustic bass and recently a Stagg electric soprano uke,of which I am very impessed.
