@blueinfinite The problem I find with Islam is that it really can be ANYTHING and its teachings can be interpreted in ANY way. Of course there are many decent people who are Muslim, but by and large they were born with that label and there is the little matter of the death penalty for rejecting it. The US prisons is where 'radical' Islam will find most of its new recruits and will, I suspect, reflect what happens in any predominantly uneducated society where Islam operates.

Ignorant Christians are as bad as ignorant Muslims; whereas, educated on either side is more open to bridge building. Of course there are many decent people who are Muslim, but by and large they were born with that label and there is the little matter of the death penalty for rejecting it. The US prisons is where 'radical' Islam will find most of its new recruits and will, I suspect, reflect what happens in any predominantly uneducated society where Islam operates.
