  • aww bless!

  • Stage fright was the killer here

  • i hate those stares the other kids made when you got back to your seat >:(

  • This isn't particularly bad, it just needed more practise, you have a good sense of tempo and didn't hit a wrong note once... I believe you're just exaggerating...

  • that was fucking great!!

  • Haha!!!!! ohh wait that's my son

  • no doubt he will be a really good musician one day...good on u fella

  • He kept going...didn't give up. Did you notice how he stared cinfusedly at the piano? lol "which note was it?" but he finished all the wat through. good job.

  • LOL this is so funny, I have same experience, I stopped piano school after the recital, but I continue playing even I know I dont have talent at all, and now I am 32 and will go back to music school soon.

  • I can do it Worse

  • That must've been nervewracking! D:

  • Really not bad, I'm always so nervous when I play recitals and if I had no music I'd definatley mess up more than that and I've passed my grade 8

  • no dude yd u stop playing piano??? :O

playin piano is the best beautiful thing a human can do :)

  • thats a small recital

  • ...really not bad at all! Good grief, he's way better than a lot of other kids.

  • awwww

  • If you played like that at 10 yrs old and you didnt even want to, I would call it unrecognized talent, but it's sad cus that you quit and if you ever try it again you could probably pick right up without any hard effort like the rest of us who would be extatic to be able to play as much as that at my age (43)

  • hurts watching when he makes mistake :D

  • dude, ur waay better than me lol. i wuldve made children cry if i hoped on there

  • I'm a pianist and all I can say to this is that we all have to start from somewhere. I thought it sounded nice.

  • Who ever uploaded this is cruel! He's not even bad, I wish I could play piano like that...

  • @benburnett95 Haha, the one that uploaded it is the same kid in the video XD

  • Awwww. It's cute! :)

  • What kind of loser would post this? Ya need a kick in the teeth

  • @themaelstrom25 Yeah, the guy that posted it is the one in the video.

  • skipping cd. so awesome.

  • Oh this brings back memories |D I hated piano recitals. Still do.

  • @PirategalStella ... i know me 2....i hope he keeps it up! it is a frightening experience for the first few times.

  • don't worry cuz i did an even worse piano recital today(im 12)... and i had the music in front of me!!!! :(

  • awww that was so cuteee :D I liked it !!

  • What a TITLE: I think you MUST have respect for ALL the efforts and don't laugh at ANYBODY, not even at yourself.

    Frans Vanuytven, LandWithoutGovernement

  • He's better than me

  • This is not the worst I've heard, trust me. I once went to a recital where a preteen girl (I was told by another girl that she put on "airs" as well) was playing a piece I played a long time ago (Kuhlau Sonatina Op. 20 No. 1). She was horrible...went too fast, was constantly off tempo and kept hitting the wrong notes, and halfway through the song, she went off by a fifth, but just kept playing. She couldn't tell the difference.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwww <3 :D

  • Its really mean to say someone has no talent :( I'm a beginner myself, so I know how nerve racking it can be when lots of people are watching you, and let me just say its not easy.

  • I am studying classical performance in piano at university right now so I know exactly how you feel! But you just have to stop thinking so hard and just do it.

It's a pity that you stopped piano because of this recital! You're actually quite good for a 10 year old. I've seen really amazing university students crash and burn in recital and you just admire them more for simply picking this up and continuing, as you did in the video here. Good job!

  • @Bluestreakteam sorry,hehehehhee...

  • that wasn't even bad. I don't know why you said it was untalented....

  • you can't call someone untalented when you obviously don't have any. So GTFO!

  • The problem that you didnt practice it and no one should stop doing something they love .. beside they applaued for you ... if you know how many people turned me down when I started you wouldnt quit piano LOL

  • U can't claim the title of most untalented in the world for this.

So there was a couple rough stops. You were 10 and playing in front if a crowd.

U actually stopped after this :-S

Do u always give up on things if you don't do it perfectly? Cause that's a very sad existence.

  • Well, since you posted this "embarrassing" video, you have a better attitude about it now. It is unfortunate that you stopped playing after this, because an off day is an off day. I have taught piano off and on for 32 years, and I can assure you that I have heard worse performances in recital than this. One of my most talented and well-known students had a recital meltdown once that was LAUGHABLY bad. She later won two piano competitions and won a beauty pageant with piano as her talent.

  • aww poor thing, i remember i did that, 'xcept i was playing a cello... i was very nervous lol

  • were you playing piano cause you wanted to or because you had to cause if you wanted to you shouldnt of stoped after that

  • lol

  • it's just a nervous kid... in a few years give him a midi controller and some software and i bet this kid will make awosome music

  • lol he's just a kid, what can you do? still good though

  • hhahahahaha

  • This boy have more talent as Justin Beiber.

Did this boy also earn millions of dollar ??

    Start to think music buizness...

  • stuff happens!! glad to see you recovered :) but would love to see you play piano now, though. If you have the guts to post this on youtube, you have the guts to start again. :)

  • I've seen MUCH worse

  • The title isnt very nice lol

  • Haha your Elton John compared to me

  • Genious.

  • its a shame you stopped playing with practice you could be great

  • it still sounded amazing?? your a haterr

  • Please don't berate yourself from when you were 10 - merely forgetting a part in your piano recital . I have heard concert pianists do WORSE after a lifetime of "experience" and training. i once attended a big piano concert with a newly "crowned" first prize champ from japan who forgot the a prokofieff sonata - attempted it no less than 5 times - eventually gave up and left the stage. i also saw a WORLD-Famous pianist make all sorts of horrific mistakes in Carnegie Hall.

  • @tedly10027 also -- you did VERY well finding your place again or figuring out how to finish it solidly. you deserved and still deserve BIG applause, believe me. I am a pianist with life experience. i know what I am talking about - and you DID WELL and that was something to be proud of.

  • stupid theacher who put you in a stage without enough practice

  • Awww! I thought you did good, better then i ever do

  • Well played, I gues it would've gone better if you had sheets to read from (that is if you were able to read scores). Obviously you got lost somewhere. :) It's pitty that you've stopped, because piano is such a great instrument to play.

  • Omg I got so nervous for you that I have butterflies in my stomach right now! I can imagine how bad you felt back then...so bad you stopped playing. Poor you :(

  • Too bad you quit.

  • LMAO XD I started like that too but i got better because I practiced

  • rofl

  • I played FAR worse than you at that age, but stuck with it.

  • omg~! how did you survive after this recital?? how did your parents react??

  • omg. when i was nine i could play stuff most adults couldnt play. i could probably figure this out without sheet music. and when i was 10, i played for two years, and was already like 8 years ahead of this poor guy. i feel sorry for him. :(

  • That happened to me when I was in 6th grade. I practiced very little (hated the songs picked out as it was). Got up there and I was a wreck.

  • I know how you feel when i was 7 i was playing in front of hundreds and i kept making mistakes

  • your better than me at least

  • hahah this is so sad hahahaha im dying haha

  • hahaha the person when you first paused in the backround "oh my god"

  • @wimmiett at 0:32 !

  • he sucks

  • OK. Well still at 10 you played better than most of the population ever will! (<:

  • haha your mistakes sound like it really is suppose to be like that

  • It was probably because you had no music plus you were nervous, you forget stuff. That happened to me. But I forgot a whole section of a Grade 6 piece. Oh well.

  • Who ever posted the video is an imbecil :D

  • i bet you that asian girl is hella better than you ... lol your better than me but you should have never gave up

  • brilliant! you should never have given up-at least you kept going!

  • Wow ahah, at the end you almost run back to your seat

  • I sometimes have to do that in front of 300 people but if you think your in the practice room, it's not so hard. just ask my girlfriend.

  • lol that happened to me cause i got super nervous up there....keep playing kid :D

  • >:-|

  • I hate these exam things! jou also hear your i geuss it's your mother like : O my god

Anyway and how do you play now?

  • haha, he said he stopped playing after this recital.

  • @phishing4cheese ahahahaha ROFL

  • Non!

  • aw, poor thing. you did good for a nervous kid, though.

  • U just started play for the audience too earl.. that's all. U shouldn't have stopped playing the piano... that was mistake. I don't know who let U play then, but he was stupid. He totally messed recital, and Ur talent up.

  • 0:45 -> remix!

  • @musitwo

    xD

  • haha noob

  • Everyone gets stage fright sometimes. I mean it's not like there's anyone who NEVER messes up.

  • haha...really is untalented

  • it was good! it sounds like you improv!

  • honestly, you covered the mess up well. for 10 yrs old that was good, and the forgotten part, because you just did it over again and again, added......character i suppose, and then you moved on. I enjoyed it :D

  • there's no need to beat urself up over that performance, i got to say u did great, haha im 17 and im into the piano myself, but when i got to perform infront of people for little concerts at school,i tend to freeze up and my hands don't stop shaking. u were calm and u carried out until u finished the piece, and for that i salute u hahaha, i still freeze up and my hands shake ( i cant seem to get them to stop when im infront of people ) but i dont give up, u should get back on piano and try again

  • well I think thath u did good, and don't be dissapointed.. nobody is perfect.

  • I liked ! I think you did very well. I'm 64 years old lady, and I start to learning piano, 4 months ago. I know is very hard all the notes and bits...but I love piano and I'm going to learn.

  • that was shit then lol

  • ur so cute back then :D

  • No Pianist In This World Never Make Any Mistakes......Even Beethoven,MOzart and Bach Have Made Mistakes B4..Let Alone To A !0 Years Old Child...JUst Buck up and dO welL For Ur nExt Performance...Embrace Your Mistakes....Keep Going...

  • That happened to me in my exam when I was about 11 and I burst into tears. The awkwardness of the examiner (quite staunch and old fashioned) didn't know how to handle me and told me to take a deep breath and start again. Everybody panics during those stressful times but all it takes is a bit of practice and perseverance. I almost quit too x(

  • Lol this is great

  • Cute, being a piano teacher myself I've seen people have way more trouble than you did. You didn't give up and you finished well..:) Can you tell I work with kids - just do your best - you're way more brave than a lot of adults..

  • oh this is so cute.

and I can imagine your horror sitting in front of an audience with expections and you sit there and at a certain point it's as if you have noodles in your brain and you get stuck and forgot how it goes on...I know it and this is the most terrible situation a performer can get in.

I'm so sorry for you but anyway it's cute because you were 10 and no classical trained world pianist :) head up ;-)

  • haha..thats cute!

lol... i bet everyone wantet to go home when you started again..

    no i'm just kiddin..

  • Good on you for stopping. no offence ^^

  • hahaha awhhhh :)

  • ha ha well everybody starts somewhere ^^

  • I bet that girl at the end loved going after you and ripped the piano apart!

  • horriable

  • OMG so cute and funny.. xD

you just made my day. <3

  • it wasn't that bad, just a little mistake...

    :D

  • that was cute, just a little mistake...

    it wasn't that bad!

  • omgosh, piano recital flashbacks, ugh. LOL i feel your pain! but seriously, you should play again: i messed up all the time @ that age, but i still play to relax and just let my feelings out. i mean, its not like you even have to stick w/ mozart (shudder). PLAY AGAIN! -beth

  • you're talented,really juz u made mistake..out of difficulties makes miracle

  • was funny to watch!

  • By the way, you did good there.

  • That happens to everyone and you're never too old to get back into it. Every single person in my college piano recital messed up at least once.

  • ur technique was not bad^^

  • I also feel your pain. Start playing again. you are an adult and dont have to give a performance. Play for you and have fun.

Best of luck from San Diego.

  • At least you didn't hit a bum note.

I feel your pain man, I really do.

I was asked to play a piece of music in a play at school and when it came to my part I just froze and refused to play at all! =/

  • WOW that is not that bad but still really bad! sorry man! That is Funny! i am 13 and not very good my parents want me to learn but it is not very easy....4 me that is!!! lol

  • no...he put up this vid in 2006 not made.....

  • Wait if you were ten in 2006, how are you now 24? lol

  • ajajajajajaja ptm

  • but also, whyd u stop playing piano? it was just a little mistake. if u would hav practiced just a little more u would hav been a great pianist :] since u were only 10 here

  • its ok. u were probably nervous and just forgot what the next piece was. it happens to everyone at some point. the good thing is that u tried to keep goin even though u knew u messed up. kudos to you :D

  • Ah. Could have happened to anyone. I've been playing for over 10 years now and the other day my during my lesson my mind went completely blank and I couldn't play a thing! It was so embarassing! lol

  • i was waiting for u to flip out

  • oh you are a great pianist ... i made a video ( MALA FAMA GONZALON) but im the wort worst worst.... sorry i speak spanish

  • lol if it's any consolation you were a cute kid...

  • it's not all THAT bad...

  • So where is the horror, Mkunerth?

  • maaaaaagnifique !!! lol

  • Haha oh noo! This reminds me, as it probably reminds any pianist who isn't a virtuoso, of a time when I totally blanked. Except I did it at the very beginning of the song. I couldn't even remember what note I had to start on. It was a struggle just to get through it that's for sure hahaha. And somehow I wasn't so traumatized that I quit. There was a lot of crying mind you haa. Oh dear...

  • who taught the poor boy how to sit at the piano??? they should be bollocked, and also putting it on youtube-how callous

  • I kno right? practice makes u perfect XD!!

  • haha, the same thing just happened to me, i quit right after too

  • good job kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • nnnnnnnnnnnuuuuuuuuuuullllllllllllllll aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • je trouve que tu es nulle sauf si c'était dans la musique, vraiment moi je t'enlève toute les étoile .0/20

  • enfin lis le titre de la vidéo!

  • hehe, you don't even how many thimes i have had the same thing as you :)

Last year i had my double bass exam, and i chose one piece... I start... And it's all gone... It happens to everyone you know. certainly if you are not prepared enough. But it's not to late to pick it up again. If you feel like it, just play :). nobody forces you to play for an audience. Just do it for yourself, and for your own enjoyment

  • Ahhhh, reminds me of the piano recital I had a few months ago. I froze in the very beginning and forgot the entire piece. After a minute I got it back together and played the whole thing.

  • Poor little boy, forced to compete. This spirit of competition is all wrong. It's like if you're not first you're nothing. Maybe he was forced by his parents to learn the piano, and also to compete. Not everybody has a talent for music so those who don't should be left alone to do what they like and what they're good at.

  • Reminds me of myself when I tried to play in a piano competition a while back... oh I'm crying on the inside...

  • LMFAO♥

i cant play piano at all though. so i shouldn't be laughing. ^_^

  • you were 10...

i think you are a little too hard on yourself.

    no one's born a pro.

i think it's a shame you quit the piano.

  • i've seen much worse. you coulda continued and then you'd be so much better now. maybe pro.

  • boy, believe u me. I've heard much much worse!

  • oh my gosh you're SO cute! You look so confused when you come up against that one note. ahaha aww adorable, I gotta give ya props for finishing it, my nerves would have gotten the best of me!

  • cumm è bellill!!

  • haha, next time, you need to play something up beat and something you enjoy. Then you can get the adrenalin flowing! YOU SHAKE MY NERVES AND YOU RATTLE MY BRAINS!

  • haha, family guy much?

  • Aha, im not a Piano player myself, but for 10 years old that was not too bad...

Atleast you continued as opposed to crying and running off stage like I woulda done

    :P

  • hahahhaa. u shud have carried on playing piano, u could have found it fun and interesting by now

u can still pick it up again, when i went to my grade 6 exam there was an 89 year old lady taking her grade 1. i would have found it inspiring

(if i was older, like 60 years or something and my mum didnt ruin it trying to act like a teenager but failing)

  • its the same person who posted this

  • lol. owned. didn't you read the description box?

  • yes, "My" is one of those tough, ambiguous words that one never knows how to take meaning of... jeesh... Ass u & me, not

  • believe it or not... i've seen worse things at a music recital like those....¬¬

  • that pause is longer then i do at piano and that is not a talent you have!!!!!!

  • I say try to play again, but just play for yourself. It can be absolutely worth it.

  • brave to post it - people don't seem to like to read...

  • um, i read the title and saw the video- i didn't read the description of it... the title insinuates that it's making fun of someone else. Maybe people don't know how to write... youtube is for videos, not a library for reading.

  • okay...you guys really need to read the discription....this is the same person that posted the video...so its okay.
