No, it's an Eppelsheim contrabass saxophone. The Tubax is more compact and has a smaller bore, and the lowest note is low Bb. This contrabass goes down to low A (concert C)
hi! where are you from, sir? how did you get to know Mr. Eppelsheim? He is living in Munich, near to my former home country. a friend of mine bought a Eppelsheim Bass saxophone some months ago and it plays beautifully!
This is my fourth Eppelsheim instrument. I have never met Benedikt Eppelsheim, but I have the utmost respect for his genius in making musical instruments.
The Tubax is smaller. The diameter of the tubing used for the Tubax is smaller, closer to the size of a baritone sax.
The Tubax would be very long, about 15 feet long, if it were straight. It is folded up into 4 parallel tubes, so it is less than 4 feet tall.
The contrabass would be a little longer than the Tubax if it were straight (about 16 feet long) because it has a low A key. The Tubax only goes down to low Bb. The contrabass sax is almost 6 feet tall.
I wanna see Kenny G play one of these!!!!

I think some scantily-clad loose women dancing around you would add a much-needed element to this video.
