Watching all of Lucas' early work, it's almost inconceivable that he would go on to create mainstream blockbusters like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. All of his short films imply a future of bizarre arthouse experimental films.

The fact that the three prequels sucked doesn't negate the fact that George Lucas can be a damn fine director and ideas guy.
The problem is that Lucas needs people that will say 'no' to him, and the ability to take constructive criticism.

Randal Kleiser, the guy who plays the man running in this movie, is the guy who would go on to direct Grease in 1978.

This is what a short film should be. Basic and to the point. Also, the actor went on to direct such films as Grease and Flight of the Navigator.
