  • Last time I saw this bike was at the Falkenberg Racetrack in Sweden at least 30 years ago. He had just passed me and the bike was at such an angle that a solid stream of sparks came out under the exhaust which was touching the asphalt. He had crashed, the bike was sliding and it was the fast turn just before the straight where the road slopes downwards. but he didn't notice or care and rode on.

  • @Nordjyden9000 Hello; great! That was in Falkenberg September 1975 and the rider was Kent Karlsson. The bike at this time was paint in "Kenny Roberts design" Can you send me your email adress? Who are you? Regards Jarnoparoni

  • @Jarnoparoni

Hi try at rorpinden@yahoo.dk. And spammers - you'll be shot at dawn! Yep, it was Kent I remember now. He was from Gothenburg not so far from the track if my memory doesn't slip. There was another guy also riding Yamaha but a 250. He was from Falkenberg and had done thousands of laps there. He was unbeatable on Falkenberg.
