Best part of Transformers franchise ever. I literally grew up watching G1 and teenage years through BW/BM. They were both great in their own way and a lot more quality than the current series. Where else would Dinobot use enemy's own gun to blast they head point blank range. Now these crap they produce these days just Disney bullshit worthy.

@alterbr33d. I don't know much about the conversion of sd to hd. I just assumed it was easily do-able due to the large amount of older sd movies now available on Blu-Ray. I know Beast Machines happened, I just wanted to snarkily express that I wish it didn't. For me, the Beast Wars saga ended when the Maximals went back to Cybertron with Megatron in tow. Hate to disrespect those who worked on it, but Beast Machines was terrible.

my all time fav transformers....anything. I watched this show faithfully at 20 years old. it got so good by season 2 it just blew me away. mature humor, great character development, excellent action, and it even dealt with death. unheard of in north american cartoons....i want this on blu ray. but it could be a while. check out the wikipedia page for some cool stuff. it's follow-up show, beast machines, never happened.

It will never come out on Blu-Ray.

Because the show was originally rendered in 640x480. Blu - Ray is 1920x1080, and you can't create something, out of nothing. Unless they went back and rerendered the whole show visually, and added stuff on the sides for the new aspect ratio.

And Beast Machines did happen, there are 23 episodes.
