SAUNA USERS BEWARE- My poor son has become a silent, wrecked shell of a human because of one stupid mistake made when 17YO.

Working at a leisure centre during Summer, he got friendly with a party of retirees (all 60+). One time they were all in the sauna when, for a laugh, he jammed the door shut & left them in for 40m. One man died of heat exhaustion & 3 others needed hospital treatment. Coroners criticised his conduct as ‘reckless & negligent’, but it was such an easy mistake to make.

I've been to thermal springs once, there were two pools, one was hot, and the other with REALLY FKN HOT, almost boiling, straight from underground. Everybody was in the first one, some big guy tried getting into the hot pool but got out in like 30 seconds, 'cause it's unbearable to move there, and then an old lady (80 something) comes in, gets in there and starts swimming around like it's nothing, everyone was like O_O So yeah women have more endurance than men

This year competition was worse than usual, under normal competition heats this would not have been possible, organizers did mistake in crankin up the heats. RIP Vladimir.

u do know that water boils at 100 degrees celcius right? And boiling water causes severe burns.. so the actual temperature of the sauna is actually much much lower. But because the temperature gauge shows over 100 C means that the temperature measurer itself is over 100 degrees hot. And us finnish are probably more sauna going than russians :P
