@evileaten the piece is Frederic Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2. and one of my favorites. I love how it's implemented in the movie with this beginning scene and the scene where Willy is shot on Thurman's doorstep. I think Bad Santa is a great raunchy-feel-good movie.
