I got suspended for a week in junior high in '85 for going to school with the cover of Emperor's Return painted on the back of my leather jacket. They actually brought my mom in and asked her how she could allow me to wear such "filth" to school. I told them both I wore it with pride! In a time when the world thought Metal was Motley Crew and Twisted Sister, these guys were way ahead of their time. Truly amazing stuff!

@vidgamers I used to watch these guys on MTV Head Bangers Ball back in the 1980's. I love this music and I'll never grow to old to not listen to it. I got suspended to back in 1980, but something completely different.

YEPS another classic trash song from our european buddies, 1984 album morbid tales is as morbid as it WORLD FUCKING GET. but one thing about that is i don,t really see then as a black metal band, maybe only it gives a bit from the image the got from their scandanavian counterparts, from my opinion celtic frost is more trash than black metal, BUT WHO FUCKING CARES THEY RULE CHEERS

I got suspended for a week in junior high in '85 for going to school with the cover of Emperor's Return painted on the back of my leather jacket. They actually brought my mom in and asked her how she could allow me to wear such "filth" to school. I told them both I wore it with pride! In a time when the world thought Metal was Motley Crew and Twisted Sister, these guys were way ahead of their time. Truly amazing stuff!
