I'm not big on theory but I know theres some theory nazi's who'll correct me if I'm wrong. I know the chords are

Dm-C-Am-B♭

and my guess is that its in Dm and uses a pentatonic scale.

But to figure stuff by ear just see what the bass note are and work up from there. Works for me most of the time.
