Oh, she has very little Titanium, mostly stainless steel, very little advanced composites. Why using old style construction? I don't know why sukhoi uses last generation construction techniques on this experiment?
Oh I see she has round non stealth engine nozzels...I was told russian invented stealth.....But, then russian don't use it on this experiment......I have to ask why? Maybe they don't trust this stealth.....Maybe they cannot afford to use stealth....Maybe they don't trust their own scientest who supposedly invent this stealth.....I don't know why they don't know round nozzels are bad stealth......So many questions about this future failure.....such a waste of money
@eag11e such a loudmouth this indian-russian combined effort is faster thanur f15 it can carry more load than ur f15 its more stealthy, speedy , loaded with firepower compared to ur F22 "CRAPTOR" it can detect the f22 from 60 km away n ur f22 can detect it 45 km away it has been officialy declared the best fighter until now and as far as the F35 is considered its MUD at the level of T-50
@eag11e well u know dumb Eagles dont realize they cant fight against the anybody who is more powerfull than them so im full of shit but true shit not just boasting about the F22 CRAPtor u make a 50 raptor n half of the US economy is drained n F35 is mud bcoz its not more stealthy not more faster, not more maneuverable, and hasnt got the ability to carry heavy fire power
@kaustubhupadhyay1998 Wow, faster than an F-15...? Did you realize that an F-15 is 40 years old? This new plane, which will not reach production for at least another 5 years, should be faster don't you think? But, for today F-15s fly at will all over mid east and no one can shoot them down. Why is that? pak fat 50 has a larger RCS and is not as stealthy as an F-22. Why do you make up shit you do not know or understand?
@eag11e I dont make things up FREAK we have tested PAK FA /FGFA i still can send u the link to the video news report that says india has tested the FGFA and by the way see the wiki comparison too it proves the FGFA superiority
@kaustubhupadhyay1998 Fastest SR-71 USA Strategic Reconnaissance Aircraft! 2nd most deadly Aircraft is F-15! Only behind his son the amazing F-22 Raptor!
@kaustubhupadhyay1998 poor grammar aside, The f-35 fills a very specific role in our air force needs. It does it job well, and out preforms all other air craft in that role. It's light, nimble, and has some of the most advance optics and computer assistance, giving it the edge over other aircraft. But it's not perfect.
Only 25-30% of our budget is Military spending, this includes updating obsolete aircraft, other military research, and advancing aviation. Stop listening to just the propaganda.
You dont even have a clue what the term "stealth" stands for in aviation.
They are round first of all due to 3D TVC. 2ndly the nozzle shape has no impact on the RCS in most observation aspects.
The F-22 nozzles are flat because of the TVC design utilizing 2-directional movement. The F-35 for instance has no TVC and the nozzle is round. Also round ones are more efficient, thats why started off round not square or triangle
@Buuub08 Bluuub, I fully understand Stealth as well as Jet Engine Technology. Reading your post, you do seem confused. Round nozzle as seen on pak fat 50 have very poor rcs, and will light up a radar easily. F-22 designers made a stealth nozzle that is flat with very good rcs. It is 2d which means it only goes up and down. Both nozzles moving together give pitch control. Nozzles moving opposite give roll control. pak fat 50s round nozzel can also give side to side movement or yaw (cont)
@eag11e However, pak fat 50s nozzle can only deflect about 15 degrees where as the flat F-22 nozzle can deflect around 30 degrees. USA designers came to realization that any yaw movement needed in Air Combat could come from rudder deflection. So you clearly see the Stealthy flat 2D F-22 Nozzle is far superior to the old round 3d pak fat 50 nozzle. In fact, I just read in russian defense pubs, that sukhoi is looking at putting the advanced F-22 style nozzel on future pak fat 50s. Now go study
@Buuub08 You're right and wrong. The nozzle shape does play a key role in stealth, but is not necessary for ever stealth aircraft. The F 35 has a rounded one for better vtol capabilities, while all other stealth aircraft try to flatten the exhaust as a means to dampen and reduce a heat signature. look up the F-117 and B-2 for why they have flat exhaust nozzles.
The main point of the F22 nozzles though is vectored thrust. to be able to angle up and down faster giving greater maneuverability.
I see she is popping 2 parachutes to slow down............I don't know why? Maybe russian cannot afford brakes for this experiment.....Maybe brakes faulty....I just don't know....I don't see this problem on USA aircraft
This week pathetic, cowardly russian spies were captured in my Great Country USA. Now they will be interrogated and are already reveling much information. IE. codes, tactics other spies ETC. .This is proof that russia copies anything good they have from USA and other Western Countries. All russians you should be ashamed, now your true character is shown. I now publicly withdraw all previous support for russia and it's people. russia you have made a big mistake and now you will pay dearly
It does not cost 350 million a plane. the Unit cost is 140 million. The 350 figure includes R&D, and other money, but that money has already been spent, so you are not saving 350 mil by buying one less F-22, you are saving 140 mil.
@ozepo The F-22 has seen no action because no other country has anything to put up against it. It is worth every penny spent because it has given the USA complete air dominance in the world. The USA deploys where ever it wants to and no one can do anything about it. No other country can do this, NONE. This is in large part because of F-22 presence and many other factors.
Listen asshole, its not like YOU had anything to do with the ATF development, you dirty pig.
Furthermore, Russian designs usually have an edge over the plane they are trying to outperform. MiG-29 is slightly more agile than F-16, and Su-27 can take on F-15.
You have no respect cause you're one of those ugly Americans that the rest of the world loves to hate.

I'm black bathing suits instead of you whites have the big stick. he he he!
Iran doesn't have to wait for anybody anymore - they have their Shafaq / Shafagh 5th gen fighter - which in turn is Russian Vityaz-2000 - but Russians never put it into production, so that was picked up by Iranians and developed further - and for the last 3 years they are mum about the progress - I guess, if Israelis or US AF might try to go for this reactor, they could be very surprised - unpleasantly.
ozepo. thats a presumption.... you dont have proof for that. i even doubt T-50s stealthy characteristics... if US allows israelis purchase of F-22 only waiting for congress approval, id say we will definitely test both capabilities... too much on presumption is a propaganda. shafaq only have some certain kind of RAM like the SR-71 pal. but not as stealthy as F-22 to compare.
As I said - I didn't really follow so closely recent development of Shafaq, but I have strong suspicion we are due for surprise - let's simply wait. I think, news will come soon.
F-22 is not that stealthy neither. It is somewhat not that much visible for 3rd world countries air defense. But not for Europeans, that's including Russia; I guess, China's intelligence has stolen it's secrets long time ago (it's a good question, how much of this airplane is really "Made in China" ;) ?
F-22 was not tested for against any russian made radars yet... if you base your assumptions on F-117s stealth tech, well, hahaha, F-22 is way different and way better. come on! dont play dumb with me here. israel believe F-22 can penetrate S300 and even S400 defense thats why they are begging US congress to sell them F-22s. i dont want to argue about F-22s effectivity but time will test it in real conflict, i think israel iran conflict will prove it.
well... hahaha. suit yourself pal, if stealth is really from china.. its like saying philppines is really producing steroids for paquiao... hahaha (an accusation from mayweather that philippines is a main source of steriods which is undeniably rediculous)
ok, lets treme down the design of this plane. the cockpit looks like the F-22 so is its connected rear wing and main wing. the tail section is from YF-23, the whole body is an SU-27 and the side side view seems to look like mig 1.44. so much is copied here, from everywhere. but htis plane seems to look really good. id love to see it in real action, what it can do and also, how much it can deliever,if it has internal compartments 3d thrust vector & maybe later variants with FSW or frontal canard
It would be impressive if a country would come up with their own ideas in frame work, but to copy what the U.S.A. has is no accomplishment. I am sure we have something already newer on the drawing board.
your right ,but this has been on the drawingbord for a long time ,this is better than f22 ,and cheeper....................match that............remember this is the first russion stelth ,they had this teq for a long time ...............but not the need or money requried to do this .................that is the reason behind the delay.........
@pakifucker999999999 If they didn't have the money to develop it, where will they get the money to buy it? This plane is no different than the Buran Shuttle or the AN-225. Nice to look at, but in reality a pipe dream one-off.
they dint have the money or requriment to produce it after 1990 ,now they need it ,and they will sell it .............to india which will order 250 of these ,russia alone might get anything upto 300 of these brasil is thinking of 100 ,of these ,this is desided i wonder who else will want it....................
the us stole the stealth concept from the russians,it bought yak-130 and incorporated it into the f35...
lets face it,yes there is copying going on,but you americans copy our russian stuff cause your to dumb to develop your own...
look at your space program, once you ran out of german scientists who built your space program it was basically dead, now you are flying with russians rockets to the ISS that was built with Russian know how...
SR-71 was being built in 1960 when a russian physicist published his book about stealth in 1962. SR-71 first flew in 1964... dont make claims pal, you're way out of reality. SR-71s stealth frame shapes and body material did not come from russian inventions, it was from a british engineers kid! hahaha.
while you brag on your stealth origin, why took you just now to produce your own first stealth plane? you are a laughing stack here pal. LOL
US doesnt want to waste more money on international space station... thats the point. so if russia is kind enough to have their rockets be used by US, then its a good idea.
but why not talk about BURAN, a copycat of US space shuttle? or how about T-50 that resembles F-22? or why not talk about russia buying a helicopter carrier from france? cant they make their own? LOL you are one ignorant egotistical fool who are so much inlove with yourself.
Sr-71 has low radar signature, but it is not stealth.
F-22 is based on Yak-141M, and there was an agreement to this effect, you can find information re. that online. PAK FA doesn't resemble F-22 for obvious reason - it is based on SU-27 platform.
its not true stealth but it is considered the first stealth plane ever built. it has a radar absorving matterial called honeycomb... though not that stealthy it started from there... check that out, SR-71 only been publicly recognized later in the 70s.
ozepo... have you seen the yak 141? its a vtol slim and thin plane that looks more the F-35s base design. not the F-22 pal. and yes, US both the yak 141 design from russia for F-35.
ozepo, well you're 100 wrong... its not F-22 but F-35 took yak 141s design and its also a fact that US bought that design from russia. dont have to argue with that. but look closer, the stealth and whole artichectural mutation -35s body frame and stealth characteristics kick the yak 141s slim thin kinda ugly shape away. thats what you should see.
100% copying of anything doesn't make any sence, especially if you can improve upon; if Yak-141M would be perfect design, I guess, it would be in production now. But if you look at the at her power plant it was incorporated in JSF.
i beg your pardon, but yak 141 is a copied technology from harrier and whats worse is that, it has indeed have an ugly aerodinamic shape. shortened wing like of a duck and the two tail, slim and i dont dont like the looks of it. sorry pal, id rather watch yak 38...
Russians didn't go for stealth in 60, because they knew, that the plane will be expensive, fly poorly and this technology in this will provide barely any advantage. But, if they actually have finally developed plasma shield - this will be totally different turn of events, I also suspect PAK FA will out-fly F-22. In other words, let's wait and see, and be careful in our comments.
i beg your pardon, but yak 141 is a copied technology from harrier
No, it's original. Her predecessor - yes, to a degree.
In real world, everybody steals ideas from each other - look at Japan years ago, and China now. Chinese, btw have saying, which can be loosely translated as "Someone who can copy a master, is a master". and if you can improve upon a master's work - definitely deserves respect.
The point here is - they fly their plane. Congratulations to them!
so is the F-35 design, this is where you should recognize in the technology world. it evolves and will continue to evolve, yet you cannot say someone copied from someone elses... they might start with what you have but end up with a new one. T-50 resembles F-22s shape, but not totally. same with yak 141 with F-35. do you agree with me.Vityaz-2000

Josifvstalin, remember the Afghanistan war american technology with the stinger brought down ruskie's jets, and the cavemen had the upper hand. Remember we invented the personal computer, the internet. Oh and remember without America russia would have been taken over in WW II by the Germans.
jpmala56 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL very so funny on last sentence. What did america do in WWII? got owned by Japan? dude never say things like that. did you fight in WWII and know that for sure?
@jpmala56 what the fuck are you dreaming off,the russian army retreated in order after General Gromko received the order from Moscow to withdraw the forces that were occupying the whole Afghan country.
The Mujahedinn killed in ten years about 10.000 Russians,we killed in ten years about 1,6 million Mujahedins hmmm
I guess we won, don`t forget that 12.000 American soldiers died in the Iraq war since 2003
warrantofficer... iran still needs to wait till 2019 for them to order this plane. another decade to wait. hahaha!
and by the time T-50 is in service the west is alredy unveiling and testing its 6th gen unmanned stealth plane free of g-force etc. hahaha so much for this plane.

@eag11e Obviously you dont understand stealth as good as you think you do.
If those flat nozzles were so uber stealthy then why not implement them on the F-35. I asked you that, however you dont seem to have an answer.
The real reason is that those flat nozzles resulted in a good TVC which is also very simple in design and thus reliable.
And nop nozzle shape has no actual effect on the RCS from a 270 degree frontal aspect and from the rear aspect the difference is insignificant.
Study kiddo.

ok, lets treme down the design of this plane. the cockpit looks like the F-22 so is its connected rear wing and main wing. the tail section is from YF-23, the whole body is an SU-27 and the side side view seems to look like mig 1.44. so much is copied here, from everywhere. but htis plane seems to look really good. id love to see it in real action, what it can do and also, how much it can deliever,if it has internal compartments 3d thrust vector & maybe later variants with FSW or frontal canard

It would be impressive if a country would come up with their own ideas in frame work, but to copy what the U.S.A. has is no accomplishment. I am sure we have something already newer on the drawing board.
jpmala56 2 years ago
your right ,but this has been on the drawingbord for a long time ,this is better than f22 ,and cheeper....................match that............remember this is the first russion stelth ,they had this teq for a long time ...............but not the need or money requried to do this .................that is the reason behind the delay.........
pakifucker999999999 2 years ago
@pakifucker999999999 If they didn't have the money to develop it, where will they get the money to buy it? This plane is no different than the Buran Shuttle or the AN-225. Nice to look at, but in reality a pipe dream one-off.
ginsunh 2 years ago
they dint have the money or requriment to produce it after 1990 ,now they need it ,and they will sell it .............to india which will order 250 of these ,russia alone might get anything upto 300 of these brasil is thinking of 100 ,of these ,this is desided i wonder who else will want it....................
pakifucker999999999 2 years ago
@jpmala56
the us stole the stealth concept from the russians,it bought yak-130 and incorporated it into the f35...
lets face it,yes there is copying going on,but you americans copy our russian stuff cause your to dumb to develop your own...
look at your space program, once you ran out of german scientists who built your space program it was basically dead, now you are flying with russians rockets to the ISS that was built with Russian know how...
You are really embarrassing yourself here...
JosifVStalin 2 years ago
JosifVstalin...
US stole stealth concept? hahaha
LOL
ganarzon 2 years ago
@ganarzon
SR-71 is not true stealth.
ozepo 2 years ago
US doesnt want to waste more money on international space station... thats the point. so if russia is kind enough to have their rockets be used by US, then its a good idea.
but why not talk about BURAN, a copycat of US space shuttle? or how about T-50 that resembles F-22? or why not talk about russia buying a helicopter carrier from france? cant they make their own? LOL you are one ignorant egotistical fool who are so much inlove with yourself.
ganarzon 2 years ago
@ganarzon
Sr-71 has low radar signature, but it is not stealth.
F-22 is based on Yak-141M, and there was an agreement to this effect, you can find information re. that online. PAK FA doesn't resemble F-22 for obvious reason - it is based on SU-27 platform.
ozepo 2 years ago
its not true stealth but it is considered the first stealth plane ever built. it has a radar absorving matterial called honeycomb... though not that stealthy it started from there... check that out, SR-71 only been publicly recognized later in the 70s.
ganarzon 2 years ago
ozepo... have you seen the yak 141? its a vtol slim and thin plane that looks more the F-35s base design. not the F-22 pal. and yes, US both the yak 141 design from russia for F-35.
ganarzon 2 years ago
@ganarzon
As a matter of fact I saw it.
ozepo 2 years ago
ozepo, well you're 100 wrong... its not F-22 but F-35 took yak 141s design and its also a fact that US bought that design from russia. dont have to argue with that. but look closer, the stealth and whole artichectural mutation -35s body frame and stealth characteristics kick the yak 141s slim thin kinda ugly shape away. thats what you should see.
ganarzon 2 years ago
@ganarzon
100% copying of anything doesn't make any sence, especially if you can improve upon; if Yak-141M would be perfect design, I guess, it would be in production now. But if you look at the at her power plant it was incorporated in JSF.
ozepo 2 years ago
as what i have said US company actually bought the yak 141s design. no doubt about it. we have no argument there pal.
ganarzon 2 years ago
i beg your pardon, but yak 141 is a copied technology from harrier and whats worse is that, it has indeed have an ugly aerodinamic shape. shortened wing like of a duck and the two tail, slim and i dont dont like the looks of it. sorry pal, id rather watch yak 38...
ganarzon 2 years ago
@ganarzon

Congratulations to them!
ozepo 2 years ago
so is the F-35 design, this is where you should recognize in the technology world. it evolves and will continue to evolve, yet you cannot say someone copied from someone elses... they might start with what you have but end up with a new one.

DimaSTS 2 years ago
@jpmala56 what the fuck are you dreaming off,the russian army retreated in order after General Gromko received the order from Moscow to withdraw the forces that were occupying the whole Afghan country.
The Mujahedinn killed in ten years about 10.000 Russians,we killed in ten years about 1,6 million Mujahedins hmmm
I guess we won, don`t forget that 12.000 American soldiers died in the Iraq war since 2003

and by the time T-50 is in service the west is alredy unveiling and testing its 6th gen unmanned stealth plane free of g-force etc. hahaha so much for this plane.
