@astrophil79 the 4xx series is north of 500 on most cases maybe one that costs 440 but it is expensive cuda however is free to use other than having to buy the video card
I think this is Navier Stokes. I know it IS a fluid simulation. Imagine you were looking at the surface of a glass of water, and you put floating food coloring in it. This is what it would look like. This is also the kind of simulation they have on that 3D car with the dust flying all around it, it's just, the particles are being carried in a 3 dimensional version of this fluid.
This is done using SPH ?

@bramiozo To be honest, I'm not sure. I don't have the source code readily available to look through.

@bramiozo No. By fast FFT projection Navier-Stokes code.
Not exactly but smth. like that:

CUDA is extraordinary. Unfortunately it's very expensive tool :(

@astrophil79 LOL!

@shellong the tool itself is free the tools to be able to use the tool are very expensive

@Galient5 What tool? The video card itself? Should be under $300 for most of the line, is that very expensive??
astrophil79 1 year ago
@astrophil79 Most people already have a video card anyway.

what are you talking about? this is deffinitely the demo project from CUDA SDK
00672 3 years ago
not sure, i never see this demo in my demo folder. and fluid is 3d, not that.
mat967 3 years ago
it's 'fluidsGL' or 'fluidsD3D9'
the 3d thing is 'particles'
