  • Omeer to mean drunk we spell with double e instead of chieng pod lach we spell it to cang poot laac or( dwong mean big) it mean the day still long,by the way we have out alphapetic

  • Job well done good video i am luo tribe in southeran sudan we call ourselves(anyuak) this lunguage the same to lunguange we speake.

  • Very beautiful conversation. I am luo from Kenya and I can relate to this conversation. Listening to this conversation makes me home sick. Luo, Padhola, Langi, Acholi and Dinka from Sudan are really one people.

  • can someone get me this movie (in full version).. i just love the drama.... and the Luo dialect if not call it acholi language. 'dhako atwero dhoge' i couldn't laugh louder! I had an acholi friend who always made my day, the way we call or translate things was just owesomely cute and full of fun. like 'ayieng totwal, or ayieng ndong' to mean i have really eaten enough.

  • definately luo!...... omer=drunk 1:21 nyadhima nyako=a girl 5:47 bed piny sit down

  • This is some educative video, it vividly captures life in An African village.

I spent most of my young days in the village so I relate very well to the scenes portrayed here!

    Please post some more sections.

  • they say- chieng pod lach to mean the day is still long and omer to mean drunk very lose to my kenyan luo, ha ha ha!!

  • ayie gi wach, acheigni winjo, dhok no mit manade

  • Great to hear my language.

  • ma to dhok mane ni ma gi wacho ni dholuo to awinj gima giwacho?

  • ma Dhulou ma Uganda man gi jo Acholi, jopadhola gi jo Lango (joluo duto) . They are speaking a variation of Luo

  • Lango from Uganda

  • This is not Luo am a Luo

  • This is a variation of Dholou as u know it. It is either Acholi or Lango (of Uganda). The best example i can give is the bukusu and maragoli of kenya , they are both Luhya but a variation of each other. If you listen really carefully you will be able to follow the conversation albeit with some difficulty. The Luo are a beautiful people whether they from in Sudan, Uganda, Congo, Tanzania or Kenya.

  • @Terrynyangiya

then you are not a really luo

  • this is the shame of being an african and her culture

  • Acholi or Lango - it is more or less the same language as they are about 90% mutally "intelligeable" - before any gestures or body language.

  • Excellent video- we need more Langi videos

  • This is definitely Luo. This is a Langi clip. This where I am from Lira.

  • it's luo but lango

only a few words even make sense to the common luo

  • This is not luo..

  • lol it's acholi luo they speak the same language but it's a bit different (my dad told me that xD)
