Omeer to mean drunk we spell with double e instead of chieng pod lach we spell it to cang poot laac or( dwong mean big) it mean the day still long,by the way we have out alphapetic
Very beautiful conversation. I am luo from Kenya and I can relate to this conversation. Listening to this conversation makes me home sick. Luo, Padhola, Langi, Acholi and Dinka from Sudan are really one people.
can someone get me this movie (in full version).. i just love the drama.... and the Luo dialect if not call it acholi language. 'dhako atwero dhoge' i couldn't laugh louder! I had an acholi friend who always made my day, the way we call or translate things was just owesomely cute and full of fun. like 'ayieng totwal, or ayieng ndong' to mean i have really eaten enough.
This is a variation of Dholou as u know it. It is either Acholi or Lango (of Uganda). The best example i can give is the bukusu and maragoli of kenya , they are both Luhya but a variation of each other. If you listen really carefully you will be able to follow the conversation albeit with some difficulty. The Luo are a beautiful people whether they from in Sudan, Uganda, Congo, Tanzania or Kenya.
love this movie, anymore in the pipe line?? this kind of program is a MUST c for school kids and parents as well, we need more of this!!!!!!!!

This is some educative video, it vividly captures life in An African village.
I spent most of my young days in the village so I relate very well to the scenes portrayed here!
Please post some more sections.

Acholi or Lango - it is more or less the same language as they are about 90% mutally "intelligeable" - before any gestures or body language.
