I won the DVD in an eBay auction on Friday; ended up paying $6 ($3 for the DVD itself + $3 S&H), and donated $1 to the American Red Cross. After watching the Cinema Snob dissect CRAZY FAT ETHEL 2, I had to seek out the DVD.

An old college roommate turned me on to this movie in the late 80's. I thought I hated all horror moives because I was only familiar with the bigger budget slasher flicks. But with this one I appreciated the B-grade campy, unrealistic slash flicks, and really liked it.

The part of this movie that sticks out in my min most is Ethel putting one of those Airwick "wick" air fresheners in the room with the rotting corpses. We used to use those in the 70's!

I have to admit Criminally insane is quite fun to watch. Alot of people don't know ethel, but she has some horror history herself like some of the other slashers. Alot of the facts about here apperantly was hidden. The horror franchise probably didn't like it, and probably thought it would never make into horror movie complitation favorites. That is probably why this is probably a very rare film to have been seen. But there is one thing that they can't hide, Ethel was the first female slasher.
