@nogrits4me Christoph Loy is quite famous for taking the "Problems" of operas - in Frau; the choice between having children or not, and taking them into socio-realistic scenographies; Here demonstrated in the problem of raising children in a the depressed world of the post-Great War.
I agree, that this is not at all his best result, in that it takes too much thinking and, in my case at least, the program of the performance to understand, but once you do I think it is a wonderful point.
This is opera essence.What a production! A concert,great acting and singing and playing.
