It's not really about Jesus. This song is about a major problem in the world today that can be solved by bringing God into the picture. At the end when she's says I'm not alone, she's not talking about how she suddenly has a lot of friends or anything- that would be hard for a cutter, I know from experience- but she's talking about how she has God now and how he's solved her problem with this and helped her. It's mainly a matter of opinion, but that why she wrote it that way.
