I got see him perform for the first time in a year after this at ASU Gammage! It was so exhilarating to see him step on the stage! He exudes more energy in one finger than most entertainers can with their whole body! Oh, and he's a genius. He had a talk-back session and we got pics with him!

Saw him in L.A. and felt so honored. It'll be hard to ever see it again and not have him there. I do hope I have an opportunity to see him again. It's like seeing Topol as Tevye; Topol just IS Tevye. Lin IS Usnavi.

I saw this show on the evening of July 25, 2009 and for me, that is the only true cast. Wish I could have seen it twice- too many great shows - Hair-Thurs, 9 to 5- Fri., Mary Stuart(matinee) In the Heights- Sat. Avenue Q( matinee) Rock of Ages- Sun.

Well, just in case you're still wondering, he has several projects coming up. He just translated some of the lyrics into Spanish for the "West Side Story" revival that was nominated at this year's Tonys.

Now he's working on (a) an In the Heights movie, and (b) a Dreamworks animated musical.

I hope he goes even farther than he already has. He's incredible.

I was there too....but I loved the understudy benny....i also saw it the night before with chris jackson....they just give two different bennys....both are good but different....count urself lucky because you got to see lin before he left
