@idontbelieveok How is the original way better? This cover has zero energy and enthusiasm behind it - a damn cure for insomnia when compared to the original. Olof's solo is absolute dog shit compared to Hide's (something that greatly saddens me since I admire both guitarists) and Jonas sounds half asleep (also saddening since he is perfectly capable of soaring as high as Toshi). All in all, this is more believable as a half-hearted dare or contractual obligation than a true tribute.

Dragonlands version of Rusty Nail is absolutely the best cover ever. The only problem with it is the fact that it's just a little bit too close to original. I kinda wished they would've taken more radical direction for the cover version. Nevertheless, great original song and almost as great cover.

I prefer X Japan's version. Much. Dragonland's vocals carries a certain western style that made me lol.

Not to mention the extreme old school anime style. Yoshiki... with his roses... XDDD

Besides, Toshi has a wonderful voice. I've never heard anyone else able to reach those pitches without falsetto. Seriously, I can't even understand how he managed to do it. I mean, most of Queen's songs had wicked high pitches, but they sang with falsetto. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Toshi definitely don't.

What makes this cover song so fantastic is that his pronunciation of the Japanese lyrics is a hundred orders of magnitude better than any Japanese singer pronouncing English lyrics. The vocalist for Dragonland is an amazing professional. Five stars!

@armorcore666 at first you see Toshi (long hair, sunglasses, spiky shoulderpads, the one who hits an eye with the fist.) Pata is the one with the wawy-curly hair, Heath has an extralong black hair. Heath gives the sunglasses back to Toshi, after Hide pierced him with that lance. So hide has been corrupted by the Evil Eye, which apparently attacked the earth. So the steal the girl there, which triggers some godly effect, that makes Yoshiki incarnate to Earth, free hide, kill the Eye.
