I think that person meant in the earlier "days" MCR was a bit harder in the style of music they played...The Black Parade sounds a lot more mellow than Bullets and Revenge. I love all of their stuff, but I especially like when they rocked it out harder. Their new album this fall is supposedly much closer sounding to the first two cd's. Can't WAIT! Woo Hoo

I think Gerard was drunk in this show. Look up the "Our Lady Of Sorrows" from this show and listen to what he says before it starts. He said in an interview "Unfortunately, it was something I felt I had to do, to be Gerard on stage". He was talking about drinking a lot before a show. I'm glad he got past that :)
