The one thing Fallout never really seems to account for is the issue of food. Wouldn't canned goods be extremely hard to find after about 80 years? In addition, I don't think any transparent plastic water bottles would survive that long; they're made of really cheap material. I guess the lesson here is, when filming a postapocalyptic film, make sure to have canteens. They're not terribly expensive if you go to your local military surplus store.

hmmm, this could happen, even though there's vegetation all around, trees and plants can grow in a nuclear fallout, take chernoybl for example. 40 years after the meltdown, there's a forest, and even animals like boar and deer, that have adapted to the radiation are able to thrive without human intervention
