rafe's big dumb move. He could have won in F2 with Danni. He wouldn't have voted Steph off...Danni would have. He could have argued that he won 4 immunities, and claimed that he counter-used Danni to get Steph to do the dirty work and let Steph take the fall for it. and that he played a sound social, strategic and competitive game.

Steph could have also salvaged her relationships with certain jury people by being ousted.

I don't think this was all about the longest legs. It was a very hard challenge, especially the early stage. and rafe has long legs too.

also, Danni had been hiding herself physically after the merge. before the merge, she was a powerhouse. she didn't want to be a physical threat compounded with being in the minority. she saved it for this.

Also, since watching this a second time since it originally aired and I was MUCH younger, I don't like Stef much anymore (too self-absorbed). Still, I feel bad for her to go through all that pain for so long and lose.

Stephanie is so dramatic! She lost; boo hoo. She was never a strong competitor since the season started, yet everyone has created this image of god-like qualities around her.

Rafe is a good guy; he was a strong physical and strategic competitor, but I think he really could've shined better if he wasn't so attached to Stephanie. She was useless, yet made virtually all of the decisions in their alliance.

On a side note, was Danni doing her nails at one part of the challenge? LOL!

I see your point, but I personally think his absolving Danni of her promise was a strategically smart move in its own way. If he had not done it, Danni would not have felt so bad about going back on the promise she made several days earlier, whereas she probably felt terrible about ignoring his generosity in this situation.

It was a risk that unfortunately did not pay off, but I don't consider him stupid for it. But maybe that's just because I like Rafe so much. Def my favorite from Guatemala.

He is the one that observed the character of his alliance members and asked himself: Do I really want to help these two thugs win a million bucks?

We have Rafe to thank, in part, for the fact that these were the final three.

I'm guessing that less than 10 out of 100 folks would have preferred to see Jamie and Judd in the finals.

I'm sure glad the finalists are people worth rooting for, and people that I'd be glad to see win a bundle.
