  • I think people let go the club hoping that itll hit the ball again

  • haha, nooo way your hitting the ball 300 !!! haha

  • Releasing the hand will not let you hit it farther dude you let it go way into the follow through so it doesn't matter if you do or not.

  • Hello All. My name is Allen Lenth and I found this video l just about a month ago. I am a self-taught golfer and next month I will have been seriously studying and playing for 1 year. After just about 3 1/2 weeks of hammer drill training - I hit the double mallet over 500 times and I hit the golf ball between 325 and 355 yards on my 138 slope golf course. Right now I am doing that just 2 or 3 times a round - BUT I AM REALLY DOING IT on 5 pars that matter to me.

  • Do you hit the rest of the clubs in your bag this way also? My brother in-law-does the baseball finish also. Works for him.

  • @oldtrafford77 I hit my clubs with either the two hand finish or the one hand finish. It all comes down to feel. You can check out other videos with my irons with the one hand finish. Check out my book._Hammer

  • I'd like to go golfing one day. Seems very difficult though.

  • video is so dark can't see what your doing

  • @bobobba442 There are other videos to check out.

  • I notice you position your right foot pulled back in the stance. Is this to help you to keep from swaying with all that weight in the driver?

  • @Pineandfeather It is because I use a closed stance to get my draw. The heel of my right foot is almost 6 feet off the ball. The idea is to get the most out of the forces of gravity and centrifugal forces. All of the extra weight carries my club out further than normal. My goal is to stay centered and then push as hard off the ground with my right foot. Watch my right foot side up 12 inches. This makes all the weight transfer into the golf ball strike. Thanks for your interest. Hammer

  • 300+ Yard drive has nothing to do with strength. I drive 280 average and I have NO muscle mass. It is all in the hips. Thanks for the video though.

  • Are all those club adjustments still "legal" under the USGA/RANDA rules of the game ?

  • The legal limit of a driver is 48 inches. As far as adding lead tape to the head of the driver and putting lead tape under the grips it is perfectly legal. In the days of the Persimmons driver, guys like Snead, Hogan and Moe Norman would put lead under the plate. Hammer

  • for people that dont realise the G5 swing weighted driver that hammer is using is like you adding a 1lb bag of sugar to the end of your driver maybe more.

    impressive.

ill have to try the hammer keep ups :)

  • Thanks for your comment. I am sure that when you get into the hammer drill training that you will want to experiment by adding lead tape to your clubs. The extra weight on the head of the clubs makes the game easier to play. Hammer

  • @wholebrainplanet

already got 30 grams added to my driver, i used tungston powder down the shaft.

  • You're the MAN.

  • I am glad that you enjoyed my video. The hammer training works big time. I hope that you check out my site. Hammer

  • I have lots of hammers and big forearms too. I CRUSH the ball. Now I just need it to go straight!

I can't wait to see your next video!

  • If you check out my channel I have lots of posted videos of my swing. My book also explains how to tap into ambidexterity so that you have two equally skilled arms and hands moving the golf club in the desired direction. Hammer
