Where were you on the lake? I have been watching a big mating pair back in Pinopolis cove for a few years. Good video, but you were too close. That gator can jump over you, and lightning quick if she wants to be. Just not afraid of humans anymore.
@driedel32 I was in the hatchery area, there is an island at the north end of the hatchery that has a little creek running through the middle of it, this monster stays back there every single summer. Yes, he definitely could have taken me out if he so chose to haha
@brdanizinha It IS messed up, we always call this one 'Snaggletooth' haha. I have seen the same alligator for years and for some weird reason it will let you practically reach out and touch it. The tip of its snout looks like it got bit off or something and now he has a noticeable underbite
@UniteForgetLeftRight yeah ok.. you go take a dip in that lake and try to live to tell us the story.. he's just used to boats.. you go in there you just signed your own death warrant.
@CowboyTheHellUp alligators by nature are more placid than most crocodilians, it is very rare for a american alligator to attack a adult human unless it has learned to associate humans with food. however if you were in kakadu national park in australia one of the salties would take you right out of the boat without a second thought
@UniteForgetLeftRight very true they are.. but if they were hungry enough I doubt an alligator would be to picky.. and most alligators are overly associated with humans because back in Louisiana I'd see some doucher from montana or something go down to the water and feed the gators.. then I'd tell em the gators feed us we don't feed them.. don't want any of my family members killed by any crocodilian
should of fell in
