Dana 45 axels with lokers and rock crusher dif. covers. Snorkel and much more. Best of all, it has a Jeep logo on the front. Also my wifes grand Cherokee could kick your cr-v's ass. It the up country edition so the suspension and shocks are better for off road than the standard edition
Im thuroughly unimpressed, this is showing the lack of capability it has, rather than flex the whole piece of shit teeters because the suspension is designed by imbeciles and stays stiff to cope with road driving. A CR-V can easily be compared to a compass or liberty, as they are cross overs and not real SUV ladder frame vehicles. A school bus would provide the same demonstration on this obstacle as it needs to be stiff to not roll over.
@elitecssplayer .......considering it's a grocery getter/family SUV why why would this thing have extreme flexing or "super articulating" suspension? It's built for the road mainly and with that taken into consideration, it's quite impressive in stock trim.

@TheAmericanUhate In all honesty, jeeps are not that reliable and are very expensive to maintain.... i know this because i own one, and i wouldn't have it any other way lol. I love my my jeep, stock with open carriers front and rear it went everywhere i went with it, occasionally needed a tug but for the most part it did well, now that's it's lifted and locked i RARELY get stuck, and since i swapped in a better t-case i have yet to get stuck, the chain was stretched in my old one.
@norcobigfootrider Of course they are expensive to maintain, things break when you take it off road. But Jeeps that have remained on road their whole lives are inexpensive, besides gas, and are very reliable.
@RJTStudio Though they break more often offroad but they are still a costly vehicle to maintain on road, my uncle has a Grand Cherokee and a Cherokee and both have never seen the offroad and he says he puts a lot of money into them for maintenance.
@norcobigfootrider Well, we just come from two different sides of the table then. My uncle has an ~87 Cherokee and had a Jeep YJ, I have a 05 Liberty, and my brother has a 06 TJ. Besides the regular maintenance such as tire rotation and oil changes, there are never any mechanical problems. In fact, we are probably going to get a Cherokee soon due to our positive experience with this brand.

@norcobigfootrider I have an F150 and a 90 model Jeep XJ, the Jeep is basically just for fun but it does have over 240 thousand miles on it and all that has had to be replaced is an alternator & battery. it's 100% original other then those and the tires. anything lifted is going to have more maintenance no matter what it is. there is more stress on the vehicle. I do plan on lifting mine later on though. yours sounds nice, i can't wait to have mine like that too.

A stock Jeep has solid front & rear axles that articulates, which helps to keep all 4 wheels on the ground better than a vehicle with 4 wheel independent suspension.
A Jeep CAN come stock with pretty good limited slip differentials. Although it's no locker, it certainly beats an open differential.
The CRV has neither.

The H1 is worthless offroad. Its way to wide, too long, weighs WAY too much, and has zero articulation. The H3 Alpha is actually far more capable than the H1.
IFS is ONLY good for on road ride. If it were any good offroad the wrangler would com with it. IFS is hampers articulation which in turn ruins traction.

@norcobigfootrider I have an F150 and a 90 model Jeep XJ, the Jeep is basically just for fun but it does have over 240 thousand miles on it and all that has had to be replaced is an alternator & battery. it's 100% original other then those and the tires. anything lifted is going to have more maintenance no matter what it is. there is more stress on the vehicle. I do plan on lifting mine later on though. yours sounds nice, i can't wait to have mine like that too.

A stock Jeep has solid front & rear axles that articulates, which helps to keep all 4 wheels on the ground better than a vehicle with 4 wheel independent suspension.
A Jeep CAN come stock with pretty good limited slip differentials. Although it's no locker, it certainly beats an open differential.
The CRV has neither.

one wheel can be all the way off the ground...
and the other firmly planted on the tread.
IFS does help off road.

IFS is ONLY good for on road ride. If it were any good offroad the wrangler would com with it. IFS is hampers articulation which in turn ruins traction.
