Again I dissagree with some points, domestic violence is a human not a gender issue (considering 1/4 of women and 1/6 of men suffer domestic abuse at some point) and for the equal pay for equal work I believe feminists have achieved that.
Actually, stinger2u, women still earn an average of about twenty-five cents less to a man's dollar for equal work. And domestic violence is still a gender issue, because it is rigidly-prescribed gender roles that prevent men from seeking help when they are victims and cause them to be ignored and/or shamed/mocked.
Sexism and artificial gender roles hurt us all. Both women and men should should support the feminist cause of equal rights and respect. :)
