  • Im a maybe. Just got a job as well and looking to get a bike next month. So the days off might be in question. Ill send you a PM sometime late next month if things change.

  • Time for that hitch I've been meaning to get...

  • @NeChick215 Go to U-Haul. Cheapest place I could find for the hitch and install when I put one on my truck.

  • @NeChick215 What he said. They're not too bad at all.

  • I would love to go but just dropped most my savings on a vet bill damn dog. I'll check motovlog for dates just in case I can make it.

  • @azwakko That sucks. You still got some time to save up, and the hotel is pretty cheap. The trip really doesn't cost -that- much. Compared to other vacations I've been on anyway.

  • That day we did a lot of miles in one day was awesome! We basically hit all the better twisties which was fun. But yeah, it was a little long, and we almost did lose daylight because of all the riding. I'm on the fence about whether I'm going or not, although I'd love to.

  • @ToastToGo Oh I know a lotta people enjoyed it. I just don't see the reason to do that if the weather is nice.

  • My initial plan is to go this year...unless things happen that I can't. I have been dying for a longer bike ride.

  • @britex3186 You should come up! It's a lotta fun and it's really not that hard of a ride from Houston.

  • @Trinith I'll be in SATX by then, might take two days to get there.

  • @britex3186 Yeh that would be a pretty long day, but it's doable. I did it in 2 from SM, was a pretty relaxed ride.

  • I wish I had a bike trailer for my car. Burning through more than two tanks of petrol on my bike in a day has gotten really old. I'm just not 20 anymore I guess.

  • @Fudmottin I know that feeling well. 3 and 4 tank days are rough.

  • I think everyone was very impressed with that restaurant we went to for lunch on Sunday. It would be nice to go back. Bring your Tums!

  • Bazinga! I'll be there unless work says Sunday is a travel day for meetings. Yes last year was too long doing everything in one day but still badass! Uuuuhhh tity sparkles!

  • @SuperDrake79 LMFAO! Dammit man! I almost choked!

  • @SuperDrake79 Oh quit being a Poo-C! :) lol

  • Count me in as an 80% possible

  • @billmaa Sweet, will be good to see you there. It's been a while..

  • You were talking about the Motel in Russellville then switched motels on us. :) It sounds like you are talking about the "Hub", in Marble Falls (pop about 10) just north of Jasper, right? That Motel is dirt cheap, but only 40 rooms I think. I'll be staying there for 4 nights at the end of April for a big Triumph meet-up. If you want me to check something out route-wise just shoot me a message. We had a good time last year - and what the hell is wrong with a 300 mile day?! lol :)

  • @XXX526 Yeah that's the one. :) Someone was talking about it at Deals Gap back in August. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see how big the group that's going to be there in May will be. If it's much bigger than us I think we may as well just go back to Russellville. As for 300 miles...it's not THAT big of a deal, but it's a bit overkill. :P

  • @Trinith The HUB would be a better launching point if we were to hit roads east of 7 (like AR341) or the more northern roads. To be accurate, and you already know this, most everything is fairly remote, lol. Other then the Ozark Cafe (in Jasper) and the restaurant @ the HUB, we'd have to go into Harrison for food (about 25 minutes north of the HUB). Doesn't matter to me, I like it all! :)

  • @XXX526 Yeah, I really like the chow potential in R-ville. Just makes it so much easier. But then the Hub is a MUCH better starting point.

  • I would love to go to The Ozarks, sounds epic, nice one for #3

  • @gogosor It's certainly been pretty awesome in the past. We get 10-15, maybe more, bikes each year and there's always atleast 1 who shows up without a bike (which is completely OK given where she comes from...) Hopefully this year it won't rain like it did last year..

  • @Trinith That would be 808, she is cool.

  • @Trinith I wish I had the money to buy an extra bike for that certain someone to use while there. Would make her stay a lot more fun.

  • I'm gonna try like hell to make this one. I wanted to make last years but job issues got in the way. Or should I say....lack of job issues got in the way. Sounds familiar, huh? I should be good to go for this one...

  • @rynoride I hear ya. I know it's a LONG ride for you, but I'm sure you'll count it as worthwhile in the end.

  • @rynoride We should make sure we talk about it at the next meeting. I am thinking of going, but would rather travel with someone. Once you get past Flagstaff, the ride there is pretty boring for the most part. I can haul 4 bikes. It's just an option. It's a 1250 miles from my house.

  • @cashstore1 Sounds good, Bud. We'll be talkin' about it for sure.
