yeh the p.c did an alright job,back in the day all I had was my 1210's a mixer and box full of records,we made the mixes back then on the spot,yeh we had to practice but it still sounded awesome,from what a gathered the middle shifter was the output for what was recorded on the p.c you hardly used the mixer to go to the records or is that how it's done these days?mostly recorded before hand and then played out to the crowd.Real skill is a d.j who can do it live without the apple mac.

i admit this mix is excellent indeed! but the DJ did not do this, have you not noticed the same vinyl have been on the two decks throughout ten whole minutes. big mixes but DJ is a FRAUD!

@DeeMac1405 i think your find if you watch closer he's using the vinyl's as Drop's and back beat's and scratches and is playing the diff tunes off the laptop ! im NOT a Dj but even i can see that !

@DeeMac1405 The two peices of vinyl don't actually have any audio on them (well, they do, but none that you'd want to listen to!). They are actually Torq timecoded vinyls. The line out of the decks are plugged into a USB interface which "listens" to the timecode signal and passes it to playback software which can detect the speed of the vinyl and even if its going forwards or backwards. This in turn is then used to control the playback of an MP3.

Search for Torq or Serato.

@Chr0nalis I didn't record this through my phone. I recorded video/sound through a cheap ass camera I had in college. I've now setup up ableton 8 and record through an audio interface. The video is what i'm having trouble with, editing and keeping the audio matched up with the video

@Galvo1984 do you even know what a crossfader is? Watch the video one more time and watch all 3 faders. The crossfader DOES CLEARLY move at 2:27 and 4:25. During the 4 min, i used the same track and scratched in another verse from later in the song. Look at minute 6:15, you can clearly see the crossfader closing and opening. I bought my first DIGITAL scratch sample from his website djkeltech do com He has a digital version of his scratch vinyl he produced. HOWEVER i would always prefer using vinyl. I will record the scratch samples off vinyl from now on.
