  • You do know this has been used in Spongebob from time to time, right?

  • Did you read the info?

  • @datguyyo I did. I'm just having a hard time understanding what you meant by what you said.

  • This music has been used on the show for the past two years.

  • @datguyyo I was refering to you saying that it should only be remembered for "A Bird in a Bonnet". Do you have a problem with this music being used in Spongebob?

  • Yes, because this music, along with a bunch of other vintage tracks by Phillip Green, have been used in the 'recent' episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants, which I do not like. That is why I rather associate these tracks with stuff that they have been used in previously.

  • @datguyyo Get off my lawn you kids!

  • This does sound iconic of a 50's cartoon!

  • Actually, the reason for its usage in the cartoon was because of a musicians strike that occured around that time.

  • @datguyyo Was APM around a long time ago or did they just make covers of previous tracks?

  • APM has actually been around since 1983. A lot of the stock tracks that were made prior to then, come from music corporations that have been around long before APM.

  • @datguyyo Wow, huh. Recently I saw APM tracks on the UK Total Wipeout and the Jackie Chan film 'Spy Kid Next Door'. Its a big company for such small exposure.
