@lavaling in case you were still wondering, it honestly depends on where you are in the world. in the u.s they can fetch (and im probably low-balling the price but) $150 each, if the fish is common in other places, then the price will be significantly lower

I really don't get it... Arowana so what? Boring tank, boring fish, too large for tank.. mainly suited for much larger zological tanks... Also sturdy and no challenge to keep except for the big tank needed... Only interseting thing is the feeding behaviour.. You might as well keep an European pike or something.. @botchalism To point the obvious: this is one comparison e.g. arowana, gar, pike, snakehead..etc. all apex predators that you need huge tanks for and that are difficult to have any tank mates for since they eat them. But sure, if you want to cram a 3 foot fish in a 100 gallon tank to compensate for the apparent.. do so… and then go walk your pitbull in you wifebeater and watch some Nascar in you trailer… I’m done with this thread
