  • Just amazing!

  • is this the one I saw in England?

I've been there some weeks ago.

  • is this what they call jewel in watches?

  • ooof! i just took a look at bricklink; current best price is $18, used. i bought a pair six years ago for $5 each, new.

  • Alternatively you could use 59521, it has 80 teeth, an axle hole and is sold on bricklink from USD 1.75.

  • absolutely, but it looks like it has a center pin hole rather than an axel hole. this can be overcome, but the assembly is not as sturdy as an axel hole would provide.

  • it's a marvel, 'phile!

instead of a mixed media pin wheel, why not try a hailfire droid wheel (peeron part number x784) instead? yeah, they're out of print, but they can be acquired at brinklink (dotcom). an excellent resource.

  • Beautifull (but not completely Lego)!

  • I suppose I'm not a purist in the sense that I will happily modify lego parts to meet my needs. I will also make use of other materials where needed.

  • superb! My fav. kind of escapement.
