@86kinky86 , that's basically what Triptykon is: satanic. If you don't want it this satanic, listen to Tom's other band, Celtic Frost (Tom Warrior's the singer). Celtic Frost is his black thrash metal band he had in the 80s, but reformed it in 2006. Then he decided to end Celtic Frost again in 2008 and form this band. Check out his last Celtic Frost album if you don't want the lyrics that satanic, the last CF album sounds just like this.

@Pestigor I didn't know any of the lyrics when I wrote that comment. I only knew Progeny and the lyrics to the Triptych - Totengott - Synagoga Satanae - Requiem. I thought only the 3 part Triptych songs were the only satanic songs on that album, so that was my mistake on that comment.

Oh, and I meant to say Celtic Frost reformed in 2001 in that other comment, not 2006, 2006 was the year Monotheist album came out.

the only good song on the album. to me it's highly overrated, the songs are way too long and that wouldn't be a problem if there would at least something happen in the songs. "Abyss within my soul" for example is a complete pain in the ass! Monotheist was a thousand times better and i don't say this because i'ma CF fan or something. if i had to compare these two albums, then E.D. is the weak little brother of Monotheist.
