  • I live in Scotland, I saw them this week, they ARE SCOTS!!!! Why do you think everything revolves around America? If it wasn't for Britain you would not even be there!!!!

  • What can I say? Absolutely brilliant, gorgeous, stupendous... and absolutely SCOTTISH!!!!!!!

  • well, I have to agree a little with plantman67: I wouldn't say American accent, but I noticed a slightly different pronounciation as well, at least it seems so. Compared to other songs this one here is not pronounced that "Scottish", I as a non-native speakers found it easier to understand just by listening. For some of the other songs I had to have a look at the lyrics because some words were just "mumbled" so hard i could't understand them :D

  • makes me proud to be scottish.

  • PMSL at all the dumb fucker s saying they are amerian LET ME TELL YOU they are scots

  • I think if I ever have a daughter I shall name her Caledonia, Cali for short. This has the be one of the most beautiful songs about Scotland.

  • @xBethanyRuthx - you obviously never got the sarcasm in my comment!!! I am completely Scottish, and know Scottie and Chappie and could not even begin to imagine either of them with American accents!!!! :-D

  • It's pronounced ScotTTTTTia ya feckin ejit!!!!

  • @JusAlec it is pronounced Sco - Sha. The band's name is a combination of two of the member's names Iain SCOtt and David CHApman thus Sco - Sha so no real connection to the Scotia pronunciation. all of this info can be found on the band website.

  • Scottie with an American accent?!!!! Pmsl!!!! Yeah, it's just you, mate!!!! God, my sides hurt!!! And 'The Chapster'?!!! Yeah, definitely from the American part of Hawick!!!!

  • @MsAngell777 this isnt american.... you're obviously NOT scottish...

  • its a great song, but they shouldnt have used american accents

  • @Plantman67 American accents!??? EH!? They're fae Hawick in Scotland, where I work... we know them, and they dinnae use American accents!??
