I was a vendor working at that hospital when it happened. I was up in the elevator penthouse, and it felt like the end of the world. Scary as hell. Cool video, I didn't think I'd be able to find anything about it online anymore.

Landing a helicopter on top of a hospital is never the best idea. At some point, things will eventually go wrong and then you basically have a bomb on top of a hospital.

The dcay that happend...I was just getting on us 131 and I could see the black smoke from Howard city...40 miles north of that...it was crazy..so I called my dad..(He works for the city of GR) and he said he saw it going to land..and then it went down on an angle and all of the sudden black smoke..and my aunt works at Spectrum...shes the head RN.

I saw it from two miles south, on Division ave. For a few minutes, it was eerily similar to 9/11. The fire crews extinguished the blaze quite quickly though.
