Its like how Samsung manufactures the A5 SoC but Apple has the licence to it- doesnt mean its Apples hard work. Apple spends roughly $100 on a single iPhone (outer hardware). They also only have roughly 1 phone model to work on while Android has hundreds of thousands. I think CHOICE is a good thing, instead of the "this is what we have, so its what you're gonna get" motto. Open source > Closed/Walled
iPhone is better, AGAIN! With an Android, you can't back up your phone to your computer, just the cloud! You don't really own your music, if its coming from the cloud because you can't keep it local on your computer. Plus with the iPhone, you can move your music and data in and out of iTunes. I bet Android can't do that.

Why does Samsung think people are standing in line for the new iPhone because they want to store their music and movies? People bought a 5th gen iPod for that six years ago, and can buy the equivalent today without standing in line...

granted, it is hard to detect, but it is implied. for one, the use of the word "all". all devices are limited with physical memory, however by utilizing cloud storage, you can exceed the physical memory and bring around "all" or "more" of your music and movies from your computer library. another reference is the guy's answer "all his playlists right there, music streams from the cloud...". (pausing....)
As for icloud, it depends on the person. If I were to get an mp3 player, the first thing I care about is the music/video storage capacity and playback quality; apps, on the other hand, not so much since I get bored of them very fast. Next is expandable memory as I listen to 320kbps mp3s and they take up a lot of memory. Cloud storage pretty much accomplishes this (although I would still prefer the traditional microSD) and would be great for music lovers. (pausing...)
For others, apps are the key aspects of the devices they choose; as for people like me, music and video are how we entertain ourselves in our spare time and having more music to listen to via cloud streaming either on android or ios is just adding a cherry on top.

In a world where many things have the same functionality, that cherry is what gives the final push. granted, it is hard to detect, but it is implied. for one, the use of the word "all". all devices are limited with physical memory, however by utilizing cloud storage, you can exceed the physical memory and bring around "all" or "more" of your music and movies from your computer library. another reference is the guy's answer "all his playlists right there, music streams from the cloud...". (pausing....)

As for icloud, it depends on the person. If I were to get an mp3 player, the first thing I care about is the music/video storage capacity and playback quality; apps, on the other hand, not so much since I get bored of them very fast. Next is expandable memory as I listen to 320kbps mp3s and they take up a lot of memory. Cloud storage pretty much accomplishes this (although I would still prefer the traditional microSD) and would be great for music lovers. (pausing...)

when asked, the guy answered w/ a rhetorical question stating on the lines of "cloud streaming is worth it". It's similar to asking someone "is it worth it?" and they answer/ask "don't you think so?". As for the cherry on top, why not? In a world where many things have the same functionality, that cherry is what gives the final push. For example, two hotels same price, one offers breakfast while the other doesn't, wouldn't you drive to the breakfast one even if it is 3 miles further?

no offense, but cloud tech has been around much longer than "icloud". a few examples, skydrive from 2007, dropbox from 2008, google docs from 2007, adobe buzzword, etc... and to be honest, I have no idea when android/samsung implemented cloud storage into the phone/os, but they are just making their products better. anyways, you can say the same thing with apple being a copycat; they took the notification system from android and the lock screen camera from wp7.
