First, the Roman Catholic Church did everything it could to suppress the real bible and to promote their corrupted version. The RCC then refused the let the layman have a Bible in their own language, but kept it in Latin. It enforced it's rules with torture and execution. The RCC used it's corrupt Bible to justify it's methods and traditions. The real Bible contradicts the traditions of the RCC, including the sacraments. Most Romans lived in squalor anyway.

Yes, they often are that ignorant. It's a sad fact of life. I love Christian bashing as much as the next rationalist, but I really would like to reach them. We need more Atheists, and I'm not yet interested in reproducing and raising one of my own, so I try to bring them in from other areas. First, the Roman Catholic Church did everything it could to suppress the real bible and to promote their corrupted version. The RCC then refused the let the layman have a Bible in their own language, but kept it in Latin. It enforced it's rules with torture and execution. The RCC used it's corrupt Bible to justify it's methods and traditions. The real Bible contradicts the traditions of the RCC, including the sacraments. Most Romans lived in squalor anyway.

I'm working atm so i don't have time to look at all of them but i will tonight. But i think Theists miss define Atheism. Its not a believe or a group or regime. Its just a lack of belief in God. Unlike Religion because i'm Atheist it doesn't mean i have to follow any other beliefs. Thats the point.

I don't know about the drama. I'm not sure if i follow your point about miracles. All Atheism states is that someone doesn't believe in God that is it. Someone who is an atheist may have other secular beliefs which could be attribute to immoral acts, but being an atheist doesn't put you in a box which says you have to do anything else. Like stone gays etc. Its JUST the abscence of God nothing more.

actually its the denial of god as some dictionaries say. The point of this however is that atheism has to eventually bring up a certain philosophy to account for certain arguments for the existence of god such as love, consciousness, and the first-cause. Also atheism motivated stalin in the same way it motivates atheists to support stem cell research

I''m not scientist but i'm sure many things that you mentioned can be explained through science. We don't require a philosophy to describe it. Even if we did i'm sure it wouldn't need to also promote stoning people for trival acts. And i support stem cell research. I think its stupid that its not funded properly.

it's more of a miracle that these were produced by natural causes rather than by supernatural. Also the origin of life&universe has no scientific explanation, furthermore most scientists believe in god...so yeah. And there are many reasons of why stem cell shouldn't be funded, not only is it against religion it didn't even do what it promised

stem cell research isn't funded properly which is why results are slow. There is no sane reason not to fund it. The arguement for souls is pathetic.
The orgin of life and universe does has scientific theories. Plus just becuase something can't be explained doesn't mean God did it. Science will uncover the mystries. People used to think God's nade lightening because they couldn't explain it.

history has shown that the majority of violence comes from non-christians. Just look up at stalin and mao, they killed 120 million people. List all of the wars of religion combined and it wont get that high, the best example you got is the inquisition. However Edward Peter's "Inquisition" has the most up to date analysis of the topic, including the myths that have arisen surrounding the inquisitions proved that at max 5 thousand died.

For a start religion didn't have modern weapon like stalin and mao. If they did alot more people would have died for sure. Secondly saying that majority of crime doesn't come from religion doesn't discount the acts that they have commited over the years. Yeah there are other reasons people kill but removing religion will mean there is one less. All wars are retarded,but killing over imaginary friends is another level of stupidity.

the mongol conquests at the 7th century alone managed to kill 30-60 million people. Most wars were not religious as many would want you to think, another example is the an shi rebellion that killed at least 30 million people, all religious atrocities combined cannot match those and there are others. Even when religion is violent it's not violent, only 1% of all the death tolls were because of religion

Even without weapons such acts are much easier to do with modern communications and technology. And again. It does really make any difference to whether Gods exists or not. And i fully admit there are other reasons people kill. But removing Religion is one less.

we know one thing, enver hoxha based his actions on atheism, he declared the country to be the world's first atheist state -- and proudly so. In fact, Hoxha decreed a ban on religion, religious names being given to newborns, ordered the demolishing of places of worship and imprisoned those found in possession of holy texts. Needless to say, his human rights record drew widespread international condemnation.
