The guy was filming the show. Axl actually wanted to go back out, but when they attempted to it was to violent out there and they weren't able to get back on the stage. Bad move, yes but hey it was what gnr was made of. You were either going to see the best concert on earth or Axl was gonna blow it.

I was there. The riot started at around 11pm, and I wasn't able to leave until around 3am. So the riot really lasted for about-- give or take-- 2 1/2 hours, up until around 2am. I was taking shelter with my girlfriend at the time near the patio area, which was off to the right of the concert ampitheater, and even that wasn't safe!!!
