  • LOL! "The michrange"

  • great stuff! ;) love the tone and playing. Have you ever experienced tube rattling from Classic 30? Or Classic 50? Which one is a better choice if i want to avoid the unwanted rattling?

  • Would I be able to get this tone from a Classic 30 as well? Great playing, tks

  • @rdgmoneda

Yes, The Classic 30 is really close. I like it better actually!

  • second solo reminds me of 90's megadeth solo's

  • so awesome! Are you putting any sort of distortion pedal in front of the amp signal, or is this the natural overdrive of the Peavey amp?

    Thanks

  • @novanine9

Most of the time, yes I do. I usually use a Rocktron Austin Gold overdrive...

  • I hear strong Petrucci/Vai influence. ;)

  • @Acidrain1993 I actually hear a lot of Satch in his playing.

  • ur like a marty friedman/van halen, it's unique.

  • @PrepsAndEmosSuck

    Thanks!

  • Sounds great. Are you getting a boost out of the pickups (are they active?)

    Thanks

  • @tcshea

    No boost at all!

  • Sounds great. Are you getting a boost out of the pickups (are they active?)

    Thanks

  • The "who fucking farted" face at 2:00

  • @HRcircut85

    I did! That's why!

  • Sounds amazing, I was worried the PC50 wouldn't be able to do leads like that. Great demo by the way, sounds way better than the gearwire or nextlevelguitar demos.

  • Is the classic 50 212 good to gig with in medium venues? and if its miced up is it good to gig with in large venues?

  • @SonKIE

I've done both with it, it's pretty good although I prefer to have a 4*10 cabinet for larger venues.

  • I do alot of gigging and I switch between A Clean and Distorted channel. Is there a button on the foot switch that can switch between channels, and is there a boost switch to increase the loudness for leads on the fotswitch itself?

Nice playing by the way! I am interested in this amp, and possibly selling off my Marshall AVT hybrid stack for a full valve combo like the classic 50 212 with the expectation of an easier smaller package to carry yet being just as loud or better.

  • Are you using the 2 x12 or the 4 x 10? Thanks

  • @stratpower1

    I used the 2x12 amp.

  • Pretty smooth tone and playing :) How long have you played guitar?

  • @MajereRaist

I have played guitar for 15 years. I'm glad you like my tone and playing! Thanks!

  • i really enjoyed your demo..i'm looking at buying a clss 50 and this demo kinda did it for me..nice work..nice playing too man..cheers

  • Awesome tone and playing! Please, can you share your EQ and gain settings for your Classic 50? Thank you.

  • @misterdetail

I'd love to, but I don't remember which ones I used for this one. Usually, I put the gain to 11, the bass to 5, the middle to 3, the treble to 5.

  • @pascalvhimself Thanks! Peavey should use your videos to advertise the Classic 50. They sounds that good. In fact, I learned of this video from the official Peavey amp forum. Again, great job.

  • Awesome Tone Again!!!!

    How did you record it??

    mic? position? Pre Amp??

  • Thanks! I used to mics for this one.

    Pascal.

  • @ollemannen5

    I used 2 standard SM57 but I don't remember how I angled them!

  • Oh yes! Merci pour ta présence cet aprem à la M.A.I. ! Superbe rencontre.

Hate de commencer les cours la semaine prochaine avec toi!

    Brice.

  • Awesome playing
