I'm lucky in that we have a large lighted garden on the top of my building. It's warm here, almost never snows, so the roofgarden, my pipe, and I have become very well acquainted.
I only smoke(pipe) outside and when no one's home so I don't have to have some anti-smoker tell me to stop. Don't want to deal with that, it kills hte relaxation aspect of smoking in the first place to tell someone to shove it when I light up. I loved thte advice.
Because I can smoke indoors all the time (wa ha ha ha! wa ha ha ha! wa ha ha ha ha ha ha!) the warmer weather doesn't have a huge impact. My dad in Canada, on the other hand...
I pretty much HAVE to smoke outside, since my wife doesn't condone smoking inside. She does allow it during winter, since it's pretty miserable to sit out on the porch when it's -30 wind chill....any suggestions for a mild cigar that can be smoked on a hot day while golfing? I've made the mistake of smoking a medium strength one on an 83 degree day, while walking the course and getting sick from the nicotene affects! I need to add some mild cigars to the humidor...cheaper ones for golfing...
I walk my dog more in the summer -- or at least longer -- so I tend to smoke more. Figure the walk and the smoke balance each other out. BTW, the full Gekko has horizontal stripes. :) And getting everything done is OK every once in a while.
The past few weeks the weather in Kentucky has been fabulous, and yes, I've been smoking more as a result. In order to assure myself that the addiction beast is still at bay, I'm consequently not going to smoke this week. I want to get back to where I'm just smoking 4-5 bowls a week.

I noticed you used a v-cut on that cigar. Do you prefer the v-cut always, or is it an every now and then kind of thing?

@Charredbriar I recommend Brickhouse, Oliva Series G Cameroon, and Savinelli Liga Especial. All these are very reasonably priced. Happy golfing!

I was smoking more outside until the dang pollen hit. Now I'm just waiting for that stuff to die down a bit so I can get back out on my deck.

I smoke quite a bit more since I can only smoke outside or in the garage. Working outside in the summer, I smoke a lot more.
